2 Years of Van Life: I've Never Done This Before

In the 2 years of #vanlife w/ my two cats, Atlas & Otto, I have never done this before. When it comes to van life, instability is your stability and that’s something that I am trying to break away from. I love living in a van with my cats, but I need to appreciate the beauty of slowing down. In today's video, I am showing you just an average day in the life of living in a van, plus expressing some thoughts for the future of living on the road.

Ps… so many of you asked for long form content… I am so excited to start sharing so much more about my life in a longer format as opposed to a short 30 second clips where I talk at the speed of light.
I'm Quin and have been living in my van w/ my 2 cats, Atlas and Otto, for two years. After working for seven years in a corporate position as a marketing director and event producer for a magazine, I decided to leave my position, take a risk and jump into #solofemalevanlife w/ my two cats.

It’s the most amazing thing in life I have never met somebody in this lifestyle who is not extremely happy and having the time of their life unless they are one of those bums that have like $1000 broke down smelly van and they are just losers. She has no bills she is able to wake up whenever she wants. She can take years off from having to work and just enjoy her life living in her paradise it is truly the greatest lifestyle to live and I’m so happy you got people think that it’s unrealistic they can continue living in their overpriced million dollar houses and having to work 10 hours a day just to come home shower and sleep. 🤣✌️ the only free time they have is on the weekend and most of it is spent doing chores that they couldn’t get to on the weekdays and then their actual free time is spent doing the same thing people are doing who are in the van life anyways a.k.a. being online on KZbin where we are right now.

This is not van life day to day. Everyone’s experience is different and MOST can’t handle it/hate it.

@@carltonthepug that’s because they don’t know how to set their lives up and they can’t think outside of the box beyond just basic day-to-day tasks. I haven’t met anybody living this lifestyle who is depressed or hating at every single person. I’ve met is overly happy, and by far the happiest people I’ve ever met have been people who have been in this lifestyle, the same people who claim that they hate this lifestyle are more than willing to pay 1500 bucks a month just in rent and work three times as hard to have a slightly bigger box with the same thing you can have and something like what she has need me one thing that you can have in a traditional living situation that she doesn’t have?

I really enjoyed a more detailed and slower paced video! Being I have 2 cats in a van, I love seeing how you ‘cope’ and hang out with your kitties! Yeah one of mine incessantly meows for me to get up. I have resorted to vinegar water in a spray bottle which buys me about 5m.

As someone struggling with mental health and trying to keep it together for the people that depend on me, you inspire me. I doubt I could travel in a van, because of the people I mentioned that need me, but I definitely need to find myself and whats going on inside. Thank you for that. Oh my god this is the best Video ever! Where in St George are you in this video? I can tell that's looking towards pine valley with Ivins mountain in the back. But didn't know there was a Place We could still go to van camp anymore! that's awesome! I have lived here since the 70's . My family came here with the Pioneers, and it's one of the most beautiful places i have ever been! I grew up here. Growing up here? there was like NOTHING on that side of town at all. Just a few random houses .

Just discovered you! I was paging through stuff and I saw the famous monument at Grand junction. Yes right next to Palisades. I have a friend there and some attenuated to it. Watch quite a few of your videos and they're all fun. Next time you go to your dad's house and want to travel around that area. Sullivan lake at eagle is a great camping spot next to a little tiny lake with a lot of fun hikes in the area on the west slope. There's also piney lake out of Vail one of my favorite because we used to camp up there before it was commercialized You can actually drive all the way up there but the view is what you go for especially in the fall when the Aspen are turning. Those there is also mount of the holy Cross area one of my favorite backpacking areas. You could do a Valentine's Day special a feature lovers leap up in Redstone. There's so much. I don't know where you've been for 2 months but I hope it's something interesting that you can share if not I hope you're well and fine thank you for your adventure share down

You R a verry positive person. I was serching long time content video like this. I have two cats whose love to traveling to but ones is an epileptic. I need have to feel near veterynary and medic for me to feel comfortable. I'll want to try vanlife but im little afraid.
