I agree. Having been in the military and done a few field trips, this looks so luxurious. I would like a better showering solution though. I saw one where there was an outdoor shower that was configured in the back door area. That's all this one really lacks. That said, on the road, there are a lot of shower options. I really like the no ladder idea. This is the first time I've seen that.

I can vouch for the composting toilet. My in laws have one on their sailboat, and as long as everything goes in the right compartment, you rotate, and change accordingly- it never smells. There's an actual head with a sink and a door - and they put the toilet on a platform to raise it up. Which is a possibility in a conversion van, depending on the size. And no black water tank is great.

The spaciousness is an optical illusion from the filming techniques used. Very common in van life videos and stills. It makes it looks bigger than a regular RV. @@idiotbuster8662 What a silly comment. This lifestyle for many has nothing to do with being homeless. A lot of people that choose this way of life can actually afford a home or an apartment. Some have sold their homes or refuse to pay these outrageous rent prices, AND, a lot of people work remotely now so there really is no need to stay rooted if they don't want to. the one thing I wonder about the mobile home life like this is how they refill their water tank... like where do they get their water source from? 🧐 I understand that the electricity is from solar panels, the gas is in a mini-tank which is easily accessible in a store... but refilling the water in a water tank.. How is it done? Also there's probably a weight limit for these kinda builds but does that take into account the supplies and resources too? I wonder how it all works.. I don't wanna delve too deep into it though. Just really curious on it.
