2 years owning a 2021 Polaris Sportsman 850 Premium. What was I thinking.

Use the lucas red grease it helps me alsothe way bar in the back uise rubber hose and clamps so it doesn't slide they make a kit look it up

Is that the cause of my squeak? I've since washed it and seems the squeak went away

@@Howard892 thats common in that style 4 wheeler mines started that within the 2nd week but my can-am doenst have that issue and ive had it a year almost

I bought a 2022 Sportsman 850 and wish I hadn’t. It’s junk and constantly in shop. I’m 65 years old, ride it softly and have never abused it in any way shape or form. I wanted to buy American; what a mistake!

Oh wow that's a dang shame. I've got around 600miles on my unit and no issues, knock on wood. I'm the same way no deep mud, not hard on her. Very simple trail riding.

Surprised at all the squeaky comments directed at Polaris. I had a can am outlander 850 and it was terrible with squeaks whenever I washed it, snow etc and I never rode in any mud or deep water. Grease grease grease!

My friend has the same bike and the dealer said when you drive through a lot of water it’s recommended to grease everything up to stop the squeaking. There known for it apparently

Awh good to know. I try not to hit much water mud but happens. I'll be sure to grease it up.

@@Howard892 yah I think my friend said Polaris has 10 or so grease nipples so if you regularly put the grease gun to the machine I’d say it will make a world of difference!!

What kind of automotive wax do you use on it?

Sadly it's been discontinued but it's Baby Smooth Wax by Armor All.

@@Howard892 10-4. I use copious amounts of wd40/armor all and even some more expensive stuff on my truck (fluid film, corrosionX, etc) which may not be worth it for an atv. I'm curious what other folks use to keep the mud off as well as prevent corrosion on these increasingly expensive ATV machines. Great review and thanks for making. Please consider making an update as we're now 11 months past this video! 🍻

Only complaint I have is the key randomly shuts off and dealer dint want to hear it. Pretty dangerous when doing 60 plus... Anyone else experience this?

Interesting. I've ridden it a few times now and no squeaks so must of been the dust that go in it from the trails.
