*Forgot to add but a new Motorcraft belt tensioner was also installed along with the new Continental serpentine belt

Can be found at any online retailer at all the same price - just make sure you don't get the coils & spark plugs kit that some retailers sell which come with copper spark plugs, unless you plan on using coppers for some reason

Continental Multi V-Belt (4060935)
The new serpentine belt that ripped initially was gates. For stock replacement, go with Continental. Both are V-belts, however the Continental one is better fit and is higher quality. I also noticed that the gates one was made in china, whereas the Continental belt said made in Mexico.

Everything you said is 100% facts lol. Trust me if it wasn't the fact that it was my first car I've been done flip this bih already lmfaooo. Too many stupid lil memories linger in my mind like sitting in the car at night, parked front of the house listening to cds I burned for it bc it wasn't even registered yet due to the pandemic, first time feeling the driver to car connection downshifting through the woods hearing the v8, stuff like that🥹 Don't get me wrong tho I def still enjoy driving the cah and I'm grateful. I brought my 02 gt in April of this year I have only driven it a handful of times because of power steering leaks and exhaust leaks and diff and oil pan etc. it’s getting worked on hopefully it will be done before the end of the month. I’ve come to realize it comes with the V8 experience and something’s with the nature of these new edges

That’s not true, the New Edge is probably the best selling Mustang. Even the 2014 and 2018 Coyote refreshes didn’t put up the same yearly sales as the New Edge. In fact only the 2007 Classic redesign came close to New Edge numbers but still fell short. A lot of people liked the New Edge but only the Terminator is talked about because the engine in the GT was a joke. I had a 2004 New Edge GT and while I loved it as it was my first muscle car. The power just wasn’t there. But there’s a reason New Edge, coyote swaps are so popular. People love the New Edge and having their favorite body style with the Coyote 5.0 is a dream car for many. I have a 2018 Mustang GT and I often think about taking the engine and putting it into a New Edge. The New Edge is my favorite body style.

That’s how you’re supposed to put the lights so that way 1 light can see the ground and the other can see what’s above for safety reasons if you put them both straight that’s the only part that’s being directly lit up

…yeah man they explain that in the videos lmao. It’s been a while but I think I have 1 inch down on both sides instead of 2 in up passenger side and 2 in down driver. With my lights being more on the quality/expensive side I can see just fine, and I assure you I’m not blinding anyone with my lowered height. In fact taking account for the lowered height is exactly the reason I knew it was okay (correct even) to do so. Hope that clears it up bud

Yeah fr. Maybe the maintenance is well done on it, but regardless that's crazy. It just sucks too because besides the older heads who grew up with these and are building them, these cars couple years back really were perfect for younger kids who maybe saved up to get their first car and learn a couple things along the way. Now I don't ever see that being the case

I'll tell all you talk about maintaince get an 01 cobra an you'll know what maintaince is an have a big big bank account now dont get me wrong my mineral gray convertable cobra is show room condition an you bet motor compartment also spotless but you all people keep forgetting my cobra is a very old car an it's got 122.000milea on it but lately I've been doing maintaince on it I had it tuned up new plugs an two new coils an when ferman Ford test drove it the car was perfect an really ran fast an good but when they got back from test drive an put it on the lift to change the oil they noticed a little wet spot up by the oil cooler cooler an wiped it off waited about a couple of minutes an wala another little drop so it's the oil cooler an I only put factory original ford parts on nothing else will do so they ordered a brand new oil cooler kit at 650 dollars an get this it's the last one in egzestance ford oil cooler an it comes out of west Virginia anyway I should get the car back this Friday they got the cooler in today an yal the bill for the coils an tune up an new oil cooler an oil change an antifreeze will be 2.200 dollars ok yal I know what your all going to say oh why take that old car to a high price dealer well I'll tell you why it's because this ford dealer knows my car and they know to put only ford cobra parts on an they know I check because they know a lot about these new edge cars an the terminators also I just got to old to work on my cobra my an I know my car insid an out I've had it 15 years an I've kept it up all 15 years to perfect shape an it cost like hell an I've only put 150 miles on it in the last year yal it's been sitin inside covered up in a heat controled an air conditioning controled room anyway I sorta want to get rid of the car I wouldn't take any less then 16.000 for butnit because it'll be a turn key close to mint cobra it's a car you'll have to do not one thing to after I get it back Thursday or Friday from the ford the only have about 400 miles on em their uniroyal tiger paws an in my book their ain't none better oh I forgot all you speed freeks this is one fast 01 cobra an all factory stock right down to the window sticker yal I have the original window sticker .

Go replace the idle air control gasket it’s a little paper gasket once you take the iac off my iac was bad had the same problems for the longest time just to one day find out it was that

If you have negative camber the tires ride on the inside so it feels much better with a bit of toe out.. I just went through this with my car without the CC plates I have a good amount of negative camber, I do my own alignments and I had to toe out a little on both sides for the best feel/handling..

So I just dug up the labor sheet from when I had the alignment done, and according to it at least it seems they actually did touch on all three, despite my said doubts above. But you're absolutely right! I had them adjust it to MMs street use recommendations which says to do 0.5 degrees toe in actually, but for race cars it says 0.5 degrees toe out. Now that you mention it I'm so curious how the car would feel adjusted to race specs, but at the time I didn't want the extra tire wear that comes with those specs. Not being a daily however, I doubt even in those settings there would be that crazy of a difference in tire wear. I will say though recently I've been doing longer trips back and forth with the car. Haha I always see your comments on new edge videos, and even remember on my main channel where I used to upload them and it's always super interesting to see the insight you must've accumulated over the years

If you have any questions especially when it comes to suspension and handling bits let me know… immediately I would recommend subframe connections, tubular or boxed rear control arms, a bump steer kit, and solid mount steering rack bushings from MM.. upgraded sway bars are also a huge improvement..

Yo sick ride! Speaking of maintenance I recommend doing the wiper relay/starter relay/wiper int. relay! (if you haven't already) Under the hood fuse box - relays eventually start to wear out / start to stick / create intermediate issues, etc. After 20+ years. I think its safe to say that the car deserves some fresh relays. PART# *(HELLA 965453041 Micro 10/20 Amp SPDT Relay) & (Standard Motor Products RY116 Relay)* Good luck!!

I love that you provided the part number for it 🤣🙌 Actually funny you mention that because although Idt I've noticed anything with any of my fuses yet, I think my window wipers have been going slower than they normally should be. Don't really drive this car in the rain anymore, so doesn't get used a lot. Recently I've been just turning them on during a normal drive here and there to give them "some exercise" lmfaoo. Think mine might have a problem with the actual mechanical part. If I ever notice it start to go bad though I'll definitely come back to refer to your comment! @@TractionCtrlOff Not a problem happy to share the info. I recently did all my Relays myself. They do not function like fuses though. They have mechanical parts inside that wear out, unlike fuses that are good until they pop. If your starter or wipers seem to be going weak or funky, I always advise to do the relays first before any major purchases.. Good luck!!
