I've been seeing mostly engine swaps with the car on a lift and lowering the body onto the engine. I see from your video that it can be done with the front of the car jacked up and raise the engine into place. I don't have a lift so this is probably the way I will go. Good video.

I’m kinda partial to my Taurus Raging Judge Magnum, the BIG 6 shot brother to the Judge. It not only handles the 45LC and the 3” 410, it also handles the venerable 454 Casull. Yes it’s heavy as FUCK but that just gives you the advantage of carrying a club when I run out of ammo. Another selling point is, if you can’t own it in California, it’s got to be a great pistol.

I'm working on my 96 Cobra Gen 2 swap. I was thinking I'd put the engine and trans in the K member then get 4 or 5 strong buddies to help lift the front of the car up and onto the drivetrain thats sitting closer to the ground. Put the 4 main k member bolts then jack it up on stands and keep going. Any suggestions on the easiest approach would be appreciated. Thanks!

A note being that everything that you will be doing is not supposed to be there there will be a lot of carful movements so I would advise having some kind of hydrologic suspension to suspend the car while you are mocking everything up not sure if your buddies can handle the lifting and holding while you adjust your build we used cherry picker apron fender engine support jackstands and floor jacks

I’d be interested to see what the 5.0 runs without any work in a new edge as a benchmark compared to a stock Terminator.

Hi i have 2000 mustang gt very clean only 93k. Km. No rust. And my brothers 2018 f150 5.0. Got totaled from back side so i am planning to swap my 2v. Can someone tell me that can i swap whole drivetrain include trans and motor. And what else can i take out from f150 which will fit in 2v?

Keep us updated. I've been toying around with this idea, but wasn't sure how possible it was. I'd love to know how it's going for you so far.

Honestly, now I feel like I can do it myself thought it would be difficult but you put answers in my lap! If you don’t mind can you get an average pricing range of you entire swap setup bro?
@xJD2Vx
@xJD2Vx 3 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that man . Yeah the swap is pretty time consuming and does require so many tools, but it can be done . I mean me and my dad have done it here outside with no lift on jack stands lol . Not even a actual garage . So I’m in 17k but I bought a lot of goodies that aren’t necessary. Swap can be done way cheaper but your looking around 10k +

@@jaquan1313ful yes sir thank you . And I’m kinda glad we did it on jack stands really puts in perspective hard work and just staying humble . Yes the fancy lifts are more convenient but glad I’m learning the basics of all this haha

@JD2v I’m doing almost same coyote swap as you are now I’m also running a t56 transmission and spec stage 3+ clutch but what bell housing did you use I know the stoc bell housing doesn’t fit I just bought a quick time bell housing for my gen1 coyote swap in my 2000 Mustang gt
@xJD2Vx
@xJD2Vx 3 жыл бұрын
Hey man first off thanks for watching means a lot ! And I appreciate you commenting. The t56 I used is from a 03-04 cobra terminator. It bolts right up so the stock cobra t56 bell housing will work! How ever if you get the magnum t56 you will need a QuickTime bell housing. QuickTime bell housing should also work with the cobra t56.

I hear you can swap to a carb engine or another fuel injected Motor So ive heard you have to re wire the dash ? I never have understood that
@southernracing2468
@southernracing2468 3 жыл бұрын
It’s easy you just leave the fuse box run one power wire to it and the whole inside will have power. You can put a lot of different motors small block and big block chevys fit, ls motors fit. Small block fords late model ford engines etc.
