When the bikes not running well you're not running well! You are smart. I run Redline fuel injection cleaner every couple tank fill ups to keep the injection system clean.

When I build computers the rule is you never, ever attach the panels. Ever. Not until it boots and you know it all runes. Once all you have left is software then you can put them on. Otherwise you're just tempting fate. I had all those same feelings watching you put on the seat. Glad it worked out! I'm in SF now so I'll be riding all through our "winter" (it'll hit a low of 55 F). I'll make sure to do some extra rides for ya!

I am the same with PCs!! I always boot with the cover off and confirm my work lol. I guess I was on a roll. I buttoned it up tight with a whole lot of confidence in my work. Maybe because this is the millionth time I've had that tank off?? Muscle memory :) Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate the extra winter rides for me :P (LOW of 55!!!???) Be safe out there and God bless you my friend!!

@@sstressfl 90% of SF weather is between 55 and 75 with blue skies. I suffer out here, I promise. Totally miss Vermont weather... Especially February...

For the gsx-s 750 2020 model the fuel strainer and whole assembly looks a little bit different. Anyways thanks allot for your video, giving me the confidence to do it myself;) My bike was hesitating 8000 - 10000 rpm full throttle, used brake cleaner to clean the strainer and now it runs like new again (new one costs 111 euro). Think I tanked dirty fuel in south Europe...

Michael. There's no way you should need to clean your injectors with such low mileage. Are you using top tier fuel?
@sstressfl3 жыл бұрын
Always Mobil.... except once. But I read 2 years 25000 miles was typical fuel strainer maintenance. And I've got 5 years and 20+k miles. And in my experience there is no rule. If you get dirt in an injector, no matter how it got there you clean it 👍 I'll be visiting my fuel filter every 2 years going fwd.

In notice you have a Detroit Tigers hat and a Woodward Ave sign… I’m in Royal Oak MI. Work right off Woodward basically. Are you from the area?

I'm a native Michigander! Was born in Lansing, grew up in Kentwood. Moved a lot to other states but lived in Novi, Clarkston, Waterford. I worked in Bloomfield Hills for a few years. I went to the first official Woodward Cruise and thats where I got my street sign :) Detroit sports fan through and through. And man, sometimes I miss the car-culture in South East MI. To this day when I roll back into MI, it still feels like home.

So I think this is what I’m going to end up doing, I get vibrations at around 5500-6000 and up, possibly dirty injectors and fuel filter as well. What was the diagnosis before the fix? What rpm’s was the buzzing happening?
@sstressfl3 ай бұрын
4000+ was not smooth. I have found buzzing can come from one or a combo of things… tired spark plugs, dirty air filter, throttle bodies out of sync, poor fuel delivery/lean. Keeping everything in top tune required for smooth operation 👍

my bike keeps misfiring ... i need help i am running a 750 engine on a 600 body and ecu any help
@sstressfl4 ай бұрын
Start with the easy stuff first! Give it a tune up first. Fresh oil. Plugs. Air filter. Fuel filter. Sync the throttle bodies. If that doesn’t fix it, go from there. You could have a clogged fuel injector. Bad coil. Bad valve. Maybe give it a compression test 👍
