I am writing a novel in which one of the characters flies from Jeki (Zambia side) to the Kariba Dam. I looked on youtube just to get an aerial perspective of the lake as you approach it from the air (i've only seen it from the ground), but this video was exactly what I needed, including the origination point!! Thank you so much.

Man i miss home. Forced to leave in 1985 as white. We used to go camping at Kariba every year. First time seen aerial footage of the area. The aerial view immediately took my thoughts to the 2 Air Rhodesian planes murderously shot down by terrorists as the planes climbed out of Kariba, murdering innocent civilians AND survivors. Rhodesia / Zim USED to be a good country. Wish i could experience the geography as an adult.
