Here's one other thing I found out: Double tapping triangle or whatever else your equip weapon button is will allow you to do the animation that you do when you equip said weapons for the first time. You have to have no weapons equipped to do so, however.

While the 2-second cooldown Sandevistan build seems to have been put down for good, there are some welcome changes I've noticed. 1: you can deactivate Sandevistan early to reduce the cooldown, which is doubly helpful because- 2: Sandevistan can be activated mid-cooldown, so it acts more like a separate stamina bar for slow-time. ADDENDUM: The mid-cooldown activation appears to be specific to Iconic sandevistan models only.

@@OSAlula At the high end, the Militech Falcon and Apogee are far and away the best options for the old melee playstyle, based on my current findings. Lowest cooldown paired with the highest time dilation. The Warpdancer seems to have traded off it's 90% reduction to a measly 20%, but has a number of defensive buffs instead. With maximum upgrades and all relevant perks active, the Apogee gives you 85% slowdown for 11 seconds, with a 21 second cooldown, and an extra 2 seconds of duration for every kill. I'd say it feels a lot like the old build, but much better balanced. I'm finding it extremely fun and engaging, especially since finishers no longer force you out of Sandy.

@@mordor1779 right? It took me a bit to get the swing of my Cool/Tech build with a mid dab into both Reflex and Intelligence. Basically a journeyman netrunner with expertise in Tech weapons and monowire to get out of tight spots when melee is necessary. And MaxTac feels like freaking MaxTac. I try to isolate one to fight but even that is a rough fight.

I like how each member of maxtac also has a different role, some have heavy armor and weapons, other can hack you, or move extremely fast to close the distance and attack you with mantis blades, it's really cool

I just started up 2.0 and I'm kinda pissed. They ruined sandy. Removed almost all the mods. I went from 109 perk points to 55 and since it appears that this game is now completely dependent on making a net runner build, my character feels kinda useless... guess I'll start over 😮‍💨

@@debacofzomb9889 not really. You gotta progress down the new skill lines. Most builds seem to do one or 2 really well. Level up more for more perks and perk points. There's some really good bonuses for leveling up your skill lines. There's one that's just +15% damage to certain weapon or damage type, I don't remember. Also Sandevistan is still good, just requires Tech Ability in addition to Reflexes. Ideally, for Sandevistan, probably 20 TA, 15/20 Reflex, 9/15 Cool, and then whatever.

Hey, to do better bunnyhops use dash and then jump almost at the same time but a lil delayed, you'll get a much larger boost. Then as soon as you land do it again rinse and repeat.

It's weird that you say the dashing is faster than any vehicle. I don't think that is true. It's faster than how npcs drive as you demonstrate but it definitely isn't as fast as YOU driving a fast vehicle. Motorcycles etc

im sure others found this to but you can get the first inspect animation on any weapon including arms cyberware except projectile launch system. when you have the item in your hands double tap Y on xbox to quick holster then if you want the animation to play double tap Y again pretty sure it would work on ps5 as well with triangle 🔼 not sure about pc but you have to be out of combat to get the animation

Does someone know how I can quickly switch to my Mantis Blades or Gorilla Arms? Before 2.0 you just rotate between your 3 guns then the MB/GA, but now seems that doesn’t work at least on PS5 and you have to open the full weapons wheel to swap to them.

I saw someone else mention this. I couldn’t swap to regular fists through weapon switching but when I got gorilla arms I could do it. Uninstalled gorilla arms to regular arms and can still access fists through weapon switching (no menu). So it may be a bit bugged. Like I have regular arms again but on the weapon wheel it still shows a blue stripe next to my fists like the class of gorilla arms I had before. Playing on PC w/ controller.

quick tip for people: using a monowire to kill people awards progress for netrunner skills so you don't actually need to use quick hacks to take people out to level that skill up for the perk point. edit: if you want to move fast, get the dash skill, you don't need air dash. you dash on the ground and immediately jump and it would preserve most of the speed so you go really fast, bonus if you have double jump(it's not needed but is fun)

I also think that weapons no longer have levels. Looks like all the weapons i found when i just installed 2.0 are still very viable even now, 10 levels after. I dont pick variants of these exact weapons that do more damage. But no one is talking about this. Its like weapons and enemies no longer have levels, and the reason to keep picking up the same "Ajax" is not to constantly look for higher-level Ajax, but rather either higher tier (going from white to blue to gold) but rather to have one Ajax with certain mods, and a different Ajax with other mods on it.

Hey just so i understand it right. The weapon rarity lile green, blue, epic ect. Im atm lvl 10 in capter 1 but only see white weapon so base only. When do i get or find the higher tiers lile green or blues? At a higher lvl ?

Stop saying "Legendary". The current iteration of the game is Tier 5. Legendary is not a thing anymore.
