Banishers was pretty good other than the very hardcore feminist undertones. There were hardly any interesting, deep, virtuous male characters while somehow, in 1695, all the rebel leaders are "strong independent women" and the men are usually dumb, evil, corrupt, or worthless. Even Red was constantly mocked and condescended to by Antea. You can tell there was an agenda behind this game by the writers which is very disappointing because this game could have been a cult classic like a Plagues Tale. Just stop with the agenda driven messages in games. It's corny. If you want to be an activist, go elsewhere.

@@sinnz146 Well said. Have always been interested in this title, but have heard similar sentiments. I still plan on playing eventually, but I feel more compelled to pay a very low price for it. I don't mind supporting the devs with my money especially at launch price especially if I see a passionate product, but if I have to muddy through a spite driven agenda to get to the good parts, I will play it but give them the least amount of my money as possible. It seems there are some good parts in this game and passion is there, but there are also the parts you speak of. With all the great games coming out constantly and my immense backlog, this title will be forced to my ever increasing backlog.
