Please use it with caution. This is powerful chemical, not natural oil or such. If it can do this much hard on superglue, think what it does on your skin or in your lung! Btw, it says on the label that it’s harmful when inhaled or swallowed.

@jake canebrake it's mostly Stoddard solution, a petroleum distillate plus mineral oil and other stuff. It damages amorphous plastics such as abs and acrylic. The fish oil thing is an urban myth that even the manufacturer deny on their website. You may find the item you spray it in disintegrates if there are any amorphous plastics in it.

It also works great for cleaning epoxy counter tops. Newly installed tops seems to attract dust on a job site. But one cleaning with WD40 takes care of it. Great Stuff!

Loved this video!! I always have a can of WD-40 on hand because I know it has many uses. Now, I just learned a few new ones! I use hot glue a lot and am going to give this a try the next time I manage to drip some on my work table. I wanted new knobs on my shower but the old ones simply would not come off. A few sprays of WD did the trick. Every now and then, my computer chair will get a squeak. WD-40 to the rescue. I love that stuff and thanks for more ideas!

WOW!!! This video actually show how to use a penetrating petroleum based lubricant. as a penetrating petroleum based lubricant. Although, I'd think twice before soaking an expensive cell phone or tv screen. Who knows what it may do some time later. I mean; if it can melt super glue, I'd worry about what I soaked with it. It's great stuff, but use with caution.

FYI, the "WD" in WD40 stands for Water Displacer. And it was the 40th concoction that was tried and it worked. Another FYI, don't use it around center fire ammunition because it can seep in past the primer and cause the round to misfire.

Its not a true lubricant. It has some slight lubrication qualities but you should always use proper grease.

One more - spray in the nozzle of a spray paint can when paint clogs the nozzle. Remove nozzle, spray in aperture, and then blow air through to clear aperature

I'd rather use the Rubbing alcohol when it comes to removing ink marks and drawings. Does a great job and sanitizes the surface. Sure were several repeats of cleaning up markings.

When I lived in the Islands of the Bahamas I had a bad case of poison ivy, the ich and scratching was driving me crazy so out of desperation I sprayed WD40 on my skin and the pain was gone! Another use, don't know how healthy it was but 40 years later I'm still here!

I once had a large tumor on my forehead. If it weren't for WD40 sprayed hourly over a 30 day period, it might still be there. On the downside it did cause total hair loss and blindness. Thanks WD40.

This seemed like it showed three things in 20 of the same ways ; how it’s meant to be used, as an adhesive remover, and as an incendiary eso pyros can clean the gum out of their hair and bike home smoothly as the house burns down with the kids inside. (Didn’t use it on the frozen rusty locks. )
