A decent fzj80 for under 10k, good luck, if you do find one it will need 5k worth of maintenance...

You have a point, but you'll find one around 10k. You may have to go a bit higher, but it won't cross 15k.

Good luck finding a Toyota/Lexus under 10k unless it has 300k plus miles.

They're rare, yeah. But if you can manage one, some modifications overtime, and you'll be good for years.

I was able to find a 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4wd with 180k miles for 8k$ here in SoCal. It is salvaged title due to theft but has no frame damage or body damage. I did put another 5k in maintenance and upgrades, but I’m happy with the reliability and utility of the truck.

I'm sure you know, but just a heads up for people. The Montero Sport is what was featured here, not the full size Montero (which is actually a great 4x4, I have one lol). Good video!

Right! And it's nice to hear that you're rocking one still now. Solid choice

How do you have an Avalanche, but not a Jeep Commander? And show me one Toyota 4x4 that is under 10k.

Thanks a bunch for your recommendation. And as for the Toyotas, they're rare catches, but you'll most certainly find your preferred model around 10k (might touch 15k max but won't be crossing that limit).

Bro was reading all the sales pamphlets, but has no idea what he was talking about. Where is the Jeep Cherokee XJ?? How is a Suzuki used as overlanding rig??? Second 80 series land cruiser shown was actually a 60 series... great fuel economy on the Hilux 22R?? Hell no! Compared to what? An LS3?
