Some of my favourites are: Cobra, Cyclone, TLL, painter, Back to School, Jet Pac, Saboteur, Sabre Wolf, Uridium, Lazy Jones, Jet Set Willy, Commando, Spy VS Spy, The Gauntlet, Pac Man, Bubble Bobble, Arkanoid, Decathlon, Match Day, Horace and the Spiders, Phoenix, Enduro Racer, Hangon, Caligornia Games, Match Point, IK+, the way of the exploding fist, Out run, BMX Simulator, Atic Atac, R-Type, Knigth Lore, The great escape, Dan Dare, Willye, Highway Encounter, Marble Madness, Renegade, Turbo Esprit, Galaxian, Manic Miner, Ant Attack, Bomb Hack, Exolon, Trashman, Paper Boy and so many others I don't remember rigth now. I had a big wall full of cassetes, on those modular cassete holders. Good old days...

Cyclone, Blackhawk, Chaos, Back to Skool, Rocky Horror, Cookie, Rebelstar 2, Booty. Also worth a look is Jet Pac RX which is a really good 48k enhanced edition of same game.

I'm gonna try my hand at the Professional Adventure Writer again - loved making my own adventures back in the day. Wish i still had them.... Some great game makers on the Speccy.

3D Deathchase was the first Speccy game that blew me away with it's 3D graphics. I remember nipping home from school at lunch break just to play it :-) I'd have to go with adding the even more technically astounding follow up "Full Throttle", Atic Atac clone "Wizards Lair", Monty Python influenced platformer "Brian Bloodaxe" and both Imagine releases of "World Series Baseball" & "Hyper Sports". That lot added to your other suggestions should keep me going through the festive season :-) Keep up the awesome work!

I have a suggestion. Please do commentary over the game audio to explain what the games are like. Very few people are looking for just gameplay and audio bits for these old games systems. We know what they will look and sound like. I wouldnt click more of these uploads but Id watch them if I could hear what the games are like during the gameplay. Especially when the sound for these isnt particularly appealing or why theyre fun.

Zx spectrum was my 1st console/computer I had. Looking forward to the dizzy games bomb jack super g man super robin hood Chuckie egg had so much fun on this I can't wait for this to launch

I’m going to play Ghostbusters first followed by Myth, Bak 2 Skool, contact Sam cruise, all the dizzy games and Target Renegade. I cannot wait!

Just Manic miner, Jetpac and Atic atac alone were classic quirky speccy games that made the system standout, even with it's limited hardware.

Good collection Crazy! Personally I'm more into the arcade stuff and sure thing I have those you covered on Vega so very good choices lol. Bat'n Ball games are cool on ZX including Krackout, Impact & Arkanoid. I love ZX Ikari Warriors for being different than C64. Space Raiders is a simple Invader clone done well. Wec Le Mans is awesome!!! Try Ghouls'n Ghosts, good effort! Switchblade. Chase HQ 128 is fab! ZX is not really known for scrolling horizontally, that said Boulder Dash is still very playable. Wec Le Mans will probably be the first game I try that I add to the machine my, it's sweet! 👍

Never saw that Zaxxon clone H.A.T.E. before. Do you think the Spectrum will support Mayflash analogue 8 bit adaptors, such as the Megadrive adaptor? I never tried it one on the Amiga mini or C64 machines. Keep up the good work!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it'll support those. I usually use an 8bitdo controller with the adapter.

​@@CrazyBurger I would argue it was a console. Despite the idea of it being a general purpose computer it never really was. I would think all consoles would satisfy the definition of a computer.
