Most of these are mildly interesting Easter Eggs, but aren’t super dark or scary. One thing that’s somewhat hidden that did scare me a little bit was according to Journal 3, Bill was planning to throw Dipper’s body off of the water tower once he burned the journal, because he had no reason to continue possessing him. That’s pretty damn creepy to think about.

Bill Cipher originally was going to be green like money, but they thought he looked too much like a dollar bill so they went with yellow instead. He was originally going to be called "Bill Black" for many more reasons, but since someone's name irl on a disney show is "Bill Black", they changed it to Bill Cipher. They didnt have a choice to change the love God episode, Alex really wanted those things in, but Disney didn't allow it. But, Mabel was wearing a rainbow sweater that whole episode, so I guess that makes up for it Also he has clearly never seen an actual episode of gravity falls! Why would Mabel have her own sign on the zodiac, when dipper doesn't? Also, it very clearly states who all the rest the spaces belong to. A few of them AREN'T related to they way the character looks, like Wendy's, hers is a pack of ice, but she doesnt wear anything icy...

I also caught something! It’s not a “dark secret” or something, it’s just a little Easter egg. Kinda. So in the golfing episode where Pacifica and Mabel go against each other in mini golf, the miners are doing their part and there is one taller miner that they call Henry. The little ones up and says, “You don’t have to do this Henry!” But he goes anyway. This is because of the tale of John Henry which was a story about the African Americans working hard on rails all day long. Just a little surprise I found :)
