Thanks Bakers, Yip putting together a bit of a montage of our Northland trip so People can get a chunk of info in one video... Plus, we have recorded anything new for a while... It's winter, we have no caravan now... We are going to do some local videos because we live in a tourism town... so they will be coming up in the future.

Yup - I think Maitai Bay is going to be on the list for Christmas.

It's really busy, people pitch a small tent to book there site 2 weeks before Christmas, the camp was 3/4 full when we left there around Dec 20th... You'll want to get there before Christmas... Also there is a far North facebook group to follow for Spirits bay, Tapotupotu, and Rarawa beach as the local Iwi manage these sites, they update if there is space. I followed it over Christmas and they were basically all full to capacity until the end of Jan. People were turned away... so something to be mindful of.

These are mostly DOC sites which are not dog friendly... I think there are some paid commercial campsites up this way which would allow dogs.
