Thanks so much this is helping me improve my social skills. I have a question regarding a situation I was in at work a while ago, a male who didn't tell me he was married until later, but still continued to make the effort to run into me regardless of my boundaries i set, months later he started being more respectful when I was becoming more outgoing at work and people being drawn to me, he started to look less happy and left me alone, what does it mean when someone changes their behavior when I better myself? I've been working a while to heal from a lot of past trauma.

Good question! In your situation, it seems as though your colleague's behavior changed as a result of the new energy and boundaries you were projecting. People often respond to the cues we send out, and your increased self-assuredness and healing likely served as a strong signal that you were not someone to be trifled with!
