Yeah the riffs are easy but some of the solos not so much. To me that was frustrating back in the day

I agree, even the rest of the song might be difficult on sone of these songs. But just the riffs are good practice for new guitarists

I gotta say, this definitely depends on your style. For example ones like Foolin are definitely not easy for me. However, I can play far more difficult things like the first solo to Phantom of The Opera (with ~90% accuracy) which is very difficult and the chorus melody in Perfect Strangers which isn’t easy either. Again, it’s all in your style. Or maybe I’m just extremely inconsistent…😂

I agree, some of these could be more difficult for beginners depending on their style. Different genres and playing styles on guitar are almost like playing another instrument

@@riffsandfish I couldn’t agree more. I’m pretty decent at heavy metal like Saxon and Black Sabbath but absolutely suck at thrash metal like Metallica and Slayer despite most (like ShredMasterScott) considering the former to be more difficult. It’s all in the styles

Very true! Everybody has their style that they do best. I respect guitarist of all genres. It’s a cool instrument however you play it 🤘
