There was an Elisha Cook Jr who was an actor beginning in the late 1920's but the woman you list as "Alicia Cook Jr" is actually Barbara Stanwyck. Nice try.

Right. The piece was referenced to Cook (male), but the opening film clips were of Barbara Stanwyck. I assume the third woman appearing in the later clips was Marsh, as I know nothing about her.

I thought so..

How could anybody mess up so badly in identification?

#BeaArthur played Dorothy in the very popular comedy Golden Girls (1985-1992) She didn't fade in obscurity and is not forgotten.

They were talking about Jean Arthur not Bea Arthur.

Charlie Farrell had a fair recognition for his TV work in the 1950s. If I recall correctly, he played the father character in a show titled My Little Margie, which was one of the most popular shows in the mid to late 1950s. I was ten or so at the time, but I recognized him immediately.

Me, too, Randall. I seem to recall that he had each episode's kiss-off line: "Well, heh-heh, that's my little Margie." Farrell was another one of those who had the sense to buy real estate in Palm Springs back in the 20s and 30s. One of his holdings became, I believe, the exclusive Racquet Club of Palm Springs.

Mae Marsh was not in Gone With The Wind.

Gladys Cooper played just "a refined upper-class character" in 'My Fair Lady'? She played Higgins' mother!!!

Alicia Cook, Jr? So why did you have scenes with Barbara Stanwyck😊?

Too many mistakes.

I couldn't absolutely swear to it, but I recall reading that Robert Taylor's over thirty years under contract to the same studio (MGM) is a record. By the way, he's seen here in a couple of clips from "Escape" and "Her carboard lover" with the great Norma Shearer (two of Miss Shearer's last three films.)

And then there’s Cary Grant whom you’re calling Charles Farrell.

"Alicia Cook, Jr."? LOL!!!!!!! There is no such person in the history of Hollywood by that name, let alone was a clone of Barbara Stanwyck. Elisha Cook, Jr., was a man, a male character actor who was born in 1903 and died at the age of 91 in 1995. How could anybody mess up so badly that it is hilarious?
