They both used to be deom versions and free. Budget Cuts was free for a year and they've pulled it to work on a proper game. Gorn was free for a long time early alpha, think they're trying to get some cash back now.

Gorn isnt anylonger, and Budget Cuts is off market for release. Its Demo is rereleased and free however. Not sure that was clear in the vid

I'm back--I had browsed this channel for a while before purchasing my VIVE and new PC, but wasn't logged in so I couldn't remember the channel name! But I've found you again, and I'm far more obsessed with VR than I thought I'd be back when I was watching this video two months ago. Keep up the great work! Also, can I comment here that VR gaming channel hosts seem to realize that yelling isn't required in your videos? I LOVE that!

2000 on a PC for VR? I'm not so sure anymore. I mean, NewEgg is doing a deal right now where they'll give you a graphics card capable of running VR games for free if you buy a Vive. That just leaves the CPU, Mobo, Ram, and some kind of storage, which I found an acceptable combo deal for almost $250. Even if we had to include the graphics card, and while I am using AMD to drop the prices a bit, a VR capable PC, without any discounts or deal bonuses, could easily cost under $500. For those wondering: CPU: AMD FX-6300 6-Core @ 3.5Ghz ($90) Mobo: BIOSTAR TA970 ($50) Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB DDR3 1866 (4GBx2) ($60) HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200 RPM ($55) GPU: Radeon RX 480 (Free if you go with the HTC Vive NewEgg deal/$230 without) PSU: Rosewill ARC Series 650W Modular ($55) (Non-modular is $5 less, just get the modular version) HMD: HTC Vive ($799) Total: $1109 Notes: Still need a case. Just add $30 since cases are more or less based on user preferences. Also, this is by no means the best build ever. If you can, just pay a bit more for a better CPU (If you wan to stay on budget territory, the AMD FX-8350 Black Edition (8 cores) @ 4.0Ghz is just $45 more, try to get a single 16GB DDR3 stick if you can (I had no luck on NewEgg, so good luck) since the board can support 64GB max (16GBx4), and maybe add an SSD to the mix (Kingston SSDNow V300 with 240GB is at $91, ADATA SP550 480GB for $130). I'm honestly an Intel person, but when it comes to budget builds, I can't say this isn't a half bad one if you are wanting something VR ready. Now go take the $1965 (1828€) you didn't spend on hardware and play like a king on Steam.

There was this sick deal going on at a store where a HTC Vive cost only 349.50 $, and it came with a free hard drive, and the store was even willing to give us FREE headphones! Certainly better than used E-bay VR headsets. Apparently it turns out that someone working at Steam or HTC was there, so maybe it was because they partnered up? No idea, but it's name was Jumbo, for anyone living on a budget. I have no idea if the price is still that low or if it has increased, but it sure is a too-good-to-be-true kind of deal.
