FYI from a plumbing business owner, not all toilet seats come off that easily. There are still many sold that can only be removed by removing the bolts, nuts, and washers which can be hard depending on how tight they are and how long they’ve been on.

I came here to comment that too as a professional housecleaner! Only about 1/4 of the houses I clean have seats that pop off, and most of the others are bolted down with the flip-top covers hiding the bolts

A new hack I just discovered for cleaning is equal portions of rubbing alcohol (70% or 99% works best) and water with a thumbnail size of dawn liquid. Works amazingly on windows, mirrors and even floors.

I use vinegar all the time, and not just in the bathroom. After I wash my pots, I spray vinegar in them to get rid of that rainbow effect, I also spray my sinks to keep them extra shiny. I also use vinegar on my stainless steel fridge, super shiny afterwards. After you're done washing your dishes and you have all that soap suds, spray it with vinegar, and the soap disappears. Vinegar is magical lol. And when it comes to the bathroom, I use the After Shower Spray. It makes the water bead off and it works like a charm, even the cheap stuff. I already use Rainex on my shower door and it does work! I put LA'S Totally Awesome Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover in a Ziplock bag, and secure it to my shower head with tape making sure the head is submerged and leave it sit sometimes overnight, HUGE difference in the performance. I love your videos.

Love these videos!, so I’m pretty lazy and only clean my bathroom once a week but my countertop gets hair, make up and toothpaste on it on the daily so after I use a washcloth at night to wash my face or in the morning after I apply my facial toner with my washcloth I just wet it down and quickly swipe over counter before throwing washcloth in the hamper- obviously not the same as actually cleaning it but it makes it look clean until I do clean it with disinectant

Professional cleaner here. I use peroxide for a lot of things! You can dilute with water if you desire. Let soak for a few min and it wipes ANYTHING off. Grout, stains, grease, etc☺

Yes! Dawn & Distilled Vinegar is the best!!! I live in the country and have uhhhmazing fresh water from a private well, but... it's hard as H*ll and leaves hard water marks. That Dawn & Distilled water works soooo well on hard water! I literally use it on EVERYTHING in the shower; walls, floor, fixtures and glass enclosure!

Just an FYI (as a housecleaner) not ALL toilet seats snap off easily! Older ones especially will be basically bolted down and you have to unscrew the bolts to get the seat off. Hopefully yours is an easy one! 😊

Love this video. Just one word to the wise: when I lived in SoCal we had a huge scale problem from the hard water. It's possible to install a device which takes the extra minerals out of the water and greatly reduce the white/gray/brown mineral deposits on everything. I never did it (renter) but if I owned my own home I would definitely look into it. Oh, and yes, plain white vinegar (diluted) is your mineral-deposits go-to.

I have used the dawn and vinegar hack. When you mix the vinegar with dawn it looses its consistency and flows out of the brush. I loved the tip for using RainX. Shower glass doors are my biggest gripe.

Ok first of all, my Amazon cart is about to be VERY full! Joe was offended by the flashlight but I think it’s genius 🤣 I saw a couple other tips recently that might be good additions! Someone said you can take the nozzle off any old bottle and it fits onto most other containers (like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, vinegar). That way you don’t need to buy a separate spray bottle! Another bathtub hack (from Do It On A Dime): Dollar Tree sponge mop with Dawn power wash! Game changer 🙌🏻

Steam mopping is not enought if There's a lot in the grout. I have the Luna steamer for years with the attachement. I finally decided to try clean the grouts of my bathroom floor with it.. There is a attachement with à small brush, not only it was without effort but the tiles look all new! I know bissel has à steamer for grout too but I don't know if it's better. I cannot believe I had this tool with me. Look if your mop have or can have attachement.
