Margatet, we share the same first name! I want to thank you...because of you I won my first 5lb jewelry lot on SGW last night. I did pay too much for shipping but still got it for less than $30. I am 80 years old just trying to sell my jewelry on PM and Itsy. I'm running out of my own jewelry to list so decided to try getting more through SGW after watching you for awhile now. I'm hoping you have made a video about 'how to sell jewelry on EBAY since I'm not doing well on the other two. I have sold about eight pieces in a month or so...not breaking the bank😏 thanks again! The gold horse brooch is commonly called a hackney horse. Their tails were bobbed because they were generally used as carriage horses, and long tails were a lot of maintenance and may get caught up in the carriage, harness, or reins.

I believe the pink flower pin is crepe myrtle flowers, and the ‘vase’ looking thing at the base is a crepe myrtle pod. I have crepe myrtle trees.

I’m not sure what coins those are exactly as they look like an old UK denomination (pre 1971). I’m wondering if they’re farthings. You might want to check they’re not gold sovereigns as they got made into signet rings and in Victorian times they were added to watch fobs. The language round the outside is Latin which is on all our coins I think it means ‘god save the Queen’. Regina is ‘queen’. ‘Rex’ is king Fun fact: each of our monarchs has their faces stamped alternating on coins. Elizabeth’s faces right. So when William or Charles come to the throne they will be stamped facing left 😊 (I’m such a nerd...my dads a coin collector)
