Hey guys! Thank you for watching the video and subscribing to our channel. Please watch this amazing video: How to Improve Blood Circulation in Body - Foods to Improve Blood Circulation kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmi6eq2qftKmmdU
I have been checking my blood sugar with a continuous monitor. I threw away the Metformin I was prescribed, Sugar, Bread, pasta, potatoes and rice definitely send my glucose off the charts and it takes ages to stabilise so I cut them out. I managed to reverse my type 2 diabetes over a 2 year period. I cut out all sugar (even fruit sugar), I ate moderate protein, veg, and (minimal dairy to ensure cholesterol was ok). I fasted for 16-18 hours overnight, keeping meals to one large and one small per day in a 6 hour window. I drink apple cider vinegar after meals, I take clean berberine and ginseng for better glucose and blood pressure control and blood sugar has been between 5.4 and 6.7 mmol on average for the last 4 years. A couple of other hacks are walking after meals, eating veg/salad first, then protein then the highest carb last, and if I want something high carb I make sure I eat a salad first. This cuts the spike in half. Seriously had to do my research over the years but taking back control of my health rather than relying on conventional medical wisdom has saved my life.

So true I gave up bad foods and sugar over a year ago...you start to feel better simply from looking at a plate of healthy food, before getting stuck in. I personally find processed food adverts unappetising. When I see KFC or a BIG Mac, it's like I'm looking at a lump of plastic. My brain now has a zero appetising reaction.

I love and frequently eat all of those except eggplant. It is the one food I dislike. . I am a diabetic and try to eat these as often as I can. Asparagus and mushrooms are now on my don't list because of gout and they were 2 of my all time favorites. I have been on many diets where these were about all I ate. No carbs at all. I had to be put in the hospital. I nearly died and lost less than 40 pound in over 6 months. Some of us never can loose weight. I still eat them because of the benefits and and diabetes.

Anything developed as a kid follows us for life. I suppose the luck of birth is to have forward thinking parents; who instill great habits/values in us. I recently visited the villages/towns near where I was born. Yearning for the natural way I invited folks to help me make some coconut oil and other nut oils. Response from 30 somethings was we don't know how to make those, we buy our oils at the stores. Consequences of my people going away from Natural approaches are rampant in my community. Obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and swollen limbs are everywhere; and perhaps the ugliest consequence I keep witnessing its many cases of Dementia/Alsheimer's. I've returned to my roots and many family members can't even recognize me. We grew up walking barefoot I preach to my people, lets Ground again, back to coconut I remarked,,. "We can afford shoes now, only those with little or no means do all that work to make coconut,," said my cousin. Elders used to remark," this modern stuff will be the end of us" Wisdom of our Garifuna elders has UNIVERSAL appeal..

Yes it is. They turn to sugar
@nightskylights4501 Жыл бұрын
@@melindajean5452 NO they are NOT the same! You can not compare whole foods like pomegranate to garbage like packaged foods. They both have high carb and sugars, but one is not even in the same universe as the other! Pomegranate is loaded with many other micronutrients that our bodies need. It lowers blood pressure, helps with detoxing your body and eyesight. It prevents cancer threats, improves digestion system, fights inflammation, lowers blood sugar and many many more benefits. And the others, not only don't have any nutrients values, they do the exact opposite what healthy whole foods like pomegranate does. They harm the body, fruit and vegetable heal it. So as I said, they're NOT the even in the same ballpark. No wonder we have so many health issues like diabetes and obesity, because people keep repeating the same nonsense they hear from others, without an ounce of logic or facts behind it.

I have been a frugivore for the last forty years and am thriving on a basically high-carb diet. I am enrolled in four medical studies at the moment. They are attempting to ascertain why my body is doing so well on primary fruit only. People lose their minds when I tell them I am a frugivore. Suddenly then everyone is concerned about my health. I am now sixty five, do not have a single wrinkle on my body, and have never had a weight problem. I had the flu once in my life and only two common colds, both before I became a frugivore.

You have justeed reinforced what im doing with my eating plan. Im 63 years of age and have had high blood pressure for 25 years, and was on metforman and glicoside for control of my blood sugar because of diabetes 2. I started my journey last year about this time and was disillusioned from trying tlose weight at the gym. At the time i was 111 kg and had been driving buses for 8 years in Auckland NZ, and eating wat most drivers ate take aways and drinking redbull or v enrgy drinks. My meds sere working but i wasnt feeling good ,always tied got gout regularly drank achole everyday because of the stress etc,. I sort of had heard about the Atkinson deit keto called now, and had done it b4 ,but i never did it the right way. The general doctors etc and deitians had ridiculed this deit and tarneshed anything high fat protein and low carb as kind od evil. Out of no where to turn i watched Iric aberg ,Ken berry and many others on you tube who talked about this deit and cutting out all sugar. I also watched doctor lustig videos about sugar and waaah ,no more achole for me. Well i could go on but bottom line is i have loss 25 kg given up all sugar pasta potatoes bread including achole etc, i just drink water sometimes sparkling with a squeeze of leamon in it. I have got my bs down to about 6,5 at peak after meal thats about 115, and my blood pressure sits around 120 over 80 or aftdr 2 or 3 days no meds it up to about 135 over 90. I only take meds for my bp occasionally 2 to 3 times per week. I also try to walk 30 mi a day or bike on my e bike for 10 kilometers. Im currently sitting at almost 85 kg but i have found something that works for me on my journey.. i track all my food ad weigh it also keeping my calories around 1500 per day and only eat 2 times per day but small meals. I also intermittent fast 18 6 everyday and sometimes go for omad stands for 1 meal a day. I personally fine this not to good for me as it forces me to consume al my calories in one go, which can raise my blood sugar even eating more proteins. My h1c is at 5,6 and i have currently accord to the hospital reversed my type2 dibiets. I have found even though most of their staff mean well ,there deit books are all wrong and do not encourage you to cut sugars oor refined foods

So much benign information here, like focusing on prebiotics or gut health when studies show these largely do nothing without resetting your gut health first. Spinach has nitrates, yes, but also oxalates, so eating too much of it isn't good. There's a reason why the carnivore diet is gaining such momentum with people seeing great results.

Considering those who are determined to eat no sugar and low carbohydrates usually limit their carb intake to 20 or below, net carbs a day, when you choose things that are over three carbs per serving, you can sabotage the healing you've done by going overboard. So something that has 7 carbs a serving and higher, doesn't leave much left, carb-wise, for the rest of the day. (BTW....doctors are now saying that meat is actually one of the healthier foods you can eat for your body and mind....and red meat and fish/seafood provides everything your body needs. Cruciferous vegetables are also really beneficial for our bodies. Doctors are also know saying the a vegan diet is NOT healthy and that "most" vegans and vegetarians are typically anemic. Before you watch these videos and even read all of the comments, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, using reputable sources (which is getting harder to find, nowadays!)

Nope, that's an unhealthy note! You need to peel, and also remove the seeds. They contain lectin that cause inflammation in the body, and almost all health problems are caused by inflammation. This's from Harvard University, which is the number TWO University in the WORLD! "Lectins, or hemagglutinins, are an “anti-nutrient” that are as a major cause for obesity, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune diseases." And this from a nutrition source: "Because lectins can trigger an immune response, they have been linked to autoimmune inflammatory conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and type 1 diabetes." So please next time, make sure you know about a subject, before commenting about it.
