The first hour of our day is critical. As a result, I’ve become intentional and do not touch my phone within that first hour. Noticed I open my blinds, eat and take care of ME. oooh those brain dumps and askin' people to leave you alone is so real and works. ever so often, i have a "quiet day." no calls, no texts, i don't get on the computer or social media and barely any tv. i tell my immediate family they can call me if it's an emergency and i do check-in texts, to let my parents know i'm okay (if i'm out & about). if anyone calls or texts, i simply respond the next day. it's oh so refreshing. i suggest doing it quarterly.

One thing I’m doing is being more selfish when it comes to my mental and emotional health. I agree about taking constructive criticism however I believe your tone and how you choose to go about expressing yourself is key. Your message can get lost in translation if your tone and your way of expressing yourself is off. You can give constructive criticism in a loving manner where it can still reach the person that way they don’t always automatically get defensive. That’s something else I’ve been doing this year. Being mindful on how I communicate with people so that it doesn’t come off offensive, aggressive and negative. This was a great video. You gave some amazing tips.

Learning g what works with my system..reading about what I hear and why is it trending...is it just a new trend or does it work...why does/doesn't it work? I am also keeping a journal. I'm doing shadow work...looking inside myself to better understand my mental state and learning how putting me first is fundamental in loving others. Bc if I don't love me, who will? And looking g at ur routines and seeing if I can fit some of these into my own. Iys only time consuming bc I never make time for me. So it's tedious bc I have to make sure I do for me...and I always passed on caring for myself. Too exhausted after caring for everyone else.

Drinking more Pomegrnite Juice, and sticking to my regimen, discarding products that did not benefit me, giving the one that work for me first priority rather than switching back and forth. Becoming more minamilistic, and I luv it. Wow, I look in the mirror and I am pleased. Taking necessary time for myself, so necessary. Doing nothing at times is so relaxing. Getting a tight hold on my personal, financial, and health situations. I am so elated Dr Nina, just had all my blood work done, my annual, my Dentist, my cholesterol. It was such a breath of fresh air. Writing things down. I repurpose food as well, make me feel better and that I am not picking up food that I have the desire to eat.
