If you’re into roguelites, like Hades or Rogue Legacy, it’s worth checking out Astral Ascent. I’ve been playing it recently, and while I don’t think it’s overall quite as good as Hades/RL, it’s a lot of fun with some very clean gameplay!

Great Video Brother! Great list of indie games, my too favorite has to be Kena and Sifu at number 1. Sifu to me is the best martial arts game to date, smooth gameplay, Great art style as well. I'm going to have to try some of these others on the list. My backlog just gets bigger and bigger lol

I bought Chained echoes after seeing a few people recommend it, it was made by one man and it was absolutely phenomenal, one of my favourite games, old style turn based RPG with a little twist to keep combat fresh, crazy to think it all came from one guys head.

Brilliant video with a really good list. I have the plats for Sifu, Hades, Kena Bridge Of Spirits, Stray and What Remains Of Edith Finch. They were all top class. I do own Teardown and Cult Of The Lamb but haven’t got round to playing them yet. I really fancy Jusant and Humanity but I’m hoping they eventually get a physical release as I try and avoid digital only games. There are a few good indie games that weren’t on your list that I would thoroughly recommend. They are Dredge, FIST (Forged In Shadow Torch), Deliver Us The Moon, Bramble The Mountain King and Death’s Door. All of those have a physical release on PS5. P.S. Would there be any chance of you doing a video where you review your own trophy list?

Since you look forward to playing Pacific Drive, I highly recommend you to read in the meantime the novel 'Roadside Picnic' by Soviet-Russian authors Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, written in 1971. The STALKER series and this game too, draw inspiration from this novel. You will even appreciate more this game.

I feel that with how the AAA game companies are going, us players are getting tired of the greed they have and the false hopes that the AAA companies promised and failed on, Indie games are going to be the only way to go if we want a true single player story driven game. AAA studios have gone down hill and are chasing money versus giving us players what we want.

Jusant the Dontnod title that came out before Banishers Ghosts of New Eden. I believe you played the latter. Did you play the former? I believe the developers of Kena, Ember labs i believe it is, i don't think they are planning a sequel, and i read something about them not looking to develop games. I hope it is not the case as Kena was a very good debut for the studio. Nice list of new & well seasoned indie releases.
