Yess, Emma serving what we need! One of my all time favorite is called Caché by Michael Haneke and it's not really horror, but it's a really well made stalker movie about a man who finds a tape left at his door with footage of his house and some weird drawings, he keeps receiving more tapes at his door, always footage of something that has to do with him... I'm bad at sharing the story of a movie without spoiling it, so just watch it!

the manner in which Emma presents the list adds to the quality. The enthusiasm is just great. makes you want to watch all of them. Great presentation. just notice how she says The Fan , The Fan and finally The Fan. Great. Though I could not understand the meaning of the phrase Cookie Cutter. Also I really could not understand the "specific reason" she chose the order ? Lets see if anybody can find it out ? I request it to be a secret for a month. i will watch this video again a few times to see if I can find it out ? Let us see what can the reason behind the order. Another great stalker/ obsession film presented in the most comical manner is What About Bob ? its nowhere near horrar or thrillaar as she says but just came to my mind so I wrote about it.

Excellent list of films, Emma. I'm happy to report that I have seen 32 (of the 40) films and 4 of those films are in my video library. "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" is probably my favorite of the stalker genre. Here are three more I could recommend: IN THE LINE OF FIRE (1993, w/Clint Eastwood) - While the villain wants to kill the president, he plays this intense cat-and-mouse game with Secret Service agent Eastwood. THE PAPERBOY (1994, w/Alexandra Paul) - A woman is stalked by the local paperboy, who is 12 years old. A creepy, tongue-in-cheek thriller. THE NURSE (1997, w/Lisa Zane) - A guilty pleasure about a live-in nurse out for revenge against the family. Lisa Zane plays the nurse very well.

I'm a year late but I can't resist dropping my fave here: The Collector (the 1965 movie, not the early 2000s horror franchise). It's an absolute masterpiece and a perfect adaptation of the book by John Fowles. Couple of suggestions for you Em... "Alone With Her" is a pretty good flick, kinda disturbing and icky... "The Video Diary Of Ricardo Lopez"... SO profoundly and utterly disturbing. The most intense film I've ever seen about obsession because it's the actual video diary kept by the guy that sent the singer Bjork, a bomb. The film chronicles his final days, during which he mails the bomb (Hollywood can't even come close to the tension, seen in the doc, as he psyches himself up to go to Post Office). I had an overwhelming feeling of pity for him. He desperately needed professional help. Help that he never got. The official documentary stops short of the tragic, inevitable ending and I'd warn you against searching online for it. I searched. I saw it. And it haunts my nightmares to this day... truth is, indeed, stranger and more disturbing than fiction.
