Great looking list. They are screening Daddy’s Head at cineplex on Tuesday and have tickets to see it.

It’s amazing!!! Also, it’s not a horror movie in any way. It’s a smart thriller. A+

There's no way I believe that the monster can be born with veneers! So unrealistic! 🤣🤣🤣. Seriously though, the first 2 thirds of the film were superb. The ending was too much for me and unnecessary

Hey Emma, are you gonna watch V/H/S Beyond? I'm gonna watch it today and I'm super hyped. V/H/S is one of my favorite recent horror franchises because they deliver every year during spooky season :D I'm very interested in your thoughts on the new one.

I liked it but unfortunately the hype and revelations before I saw it spoiled it a bit. It would have been WAY creepier if I knew nothing about it and didn’t know what Nicholas Cage looked like. His face was all over KZbin recommendations and I got used to it before watching.

It’s so funny, after the movie ended I said to my partner, this reminds me of “We’re All Going to the World’s Fair.” Go figure! I really liked that one. Can’t really say the same about this one. But this is surely somebody’s favorite movie, and that’s awesome. Just not mine!

Just got home from seeing this in the theater. It was a full house and the audience was so into it. Especially the two couples on my right and left.

When you mentioned Thelma, I initially thought you were talking about Thelma (2017) directed by Joachim Trier, which is an amazing movie too..

RE: the yellow I picked up on the use of yellow immediately. You're the only channel I've seen mention it. You missed that Elisabeth passes by/is on screen with several yellow danger signs at several points in the movie. One noticeably says "SLOW DOWN"

For me, Climax is a screamfest. The idea of having a bad LSD trip is unnerving to me. I was consistently scared during the second half (not sure if I literally screamed, but I don't think it has to be literal to qualify). When the credits rolled, I laughed with relief.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the way they portrayed the trailer?! Gave absolutely NOTHING away. Set an unsettling tone and that’s it! Came back last night from it. Wow, what an amazing film! Best body horror/suspense/dark comedy I’ve seen in years. Fantastic performances all around, cinematography and the use of practical effects were masterful. When the final chapter name popped up I just started laughing in the best way but not at the expense of how grotesque, sad and relatable the underlining themes were. Great explanation video! Thank you

HUGE Rosemary's Baby fan here. So I feel like the similarities between the movies make sense because Terry ended her life thus killing the baby. The Castavetts had to redo it all. There where some differences like Terry's apartment wasn't Rosemary's and we get to meet Mrs. Gardinia who dies and Rosemary & Guy take her apartment and also all the dancing stuff (suspiria! cough cough). I don't feel like this film. Is closer to the book because reading it a few years back after watching the film for years it's was very word for word which could make for a boring read if you read it after seeing the film but I loved it. This film was made because they can't think of any original ideas anymore. Why not make a better sequel? There's a scrappy one from the 70s (only found on youtube) and in 1998 the author of Rosemary's Baby wrote the sequel which had nothing to do plot wose with the movie (the books better). I have a lot of questions about this movie....and also Rosemary's Baby takes place in 1968 but I could have sworn this one is in 1965? Terry's story overlaps woth Rosemary's because they meet and it's Rosemary's who's the first to identify Terry's body thus first meeting the castavetts. I feel parts of this film was sloppy.

I have not watched Rosemary's Baby. Should I watch that first or start with the prequel. I don't want to spoil Rosemary's Baby by watching 7a.

I thought it was okay. It seemed like there was potential there, but it was never fully developed. When it ended, I thought I had bumped the controller and skipped ahead or something. Just felt kind of abrupt right when it was getting interesting.
