Oh yeah the Dixie Cups "Chapel of Love" and then the Dixie Chicks came along. I did pick an small an odd piece to do next. Problem was the motor on my Rikon band saw froze up when I was about to trim the piece. Took the motor off and found the bearing was bad. New ones should be here tomorrow. So I will rest up a bit. Sucks...seems like it was just yesterday we could over do it and 5 minutes later we were like new. I guess my band saw feels the same. LOL

Look after that arm Phil. I appreciate your making a video for us when it's still not right. Your bowl's lovely. It looks like an elf cup mushroom. Thank you to Tuffy for sending and you for sharing and see you - arm all better - soon.

I like the method of sanding the bark. Good little project that can be done very fast. Fruit wood will usually have some cracks, I found also. Thanks for your time, Lee

Mr. Phil Looks good. I like the way the inner bark polishes up. It gives a 3rd type surface to your projects. Wood, inner and outer bark. It blends well with the othe 2 surfaces. Keep up the good work my friend. Stay positive my friend. I think half the battle, with recovering from something, takes place in oun own mind.

WOW! Thanks for the flashback! I remember 'Dixie Cups' from way back in the 1960's. We had a special despenser for them. They were great for making jello shots. Love the bowl. 🧡🧡

Jello shots in the 60's, Teresa? I don't remember that part! LOL!
@teresajudy72323 жыл бұрын
@@PhilAndersonShadyAcresWoodshop Me Mum would make a batch of jello and put 2 tablespoons of it in each Dixie Cup and we would pop a couple of shots durring the day. Of course when we came of age the shots were made with Vodka. 🤣
