We tackled assembling the bike as a family project. kzbin.infoUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The package is heavy, but I have 2 teen boys that were able to move it. The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

I bought a spin bike a week ago and have used it every night since. I was simply riding for 15-20 minutes at different levels of resistance until I found your channel. The spin classes are awesome! I feel amazing afterwards (slightly exhausted too but in a good way lol). Thank you for posting!

We need more spin classes from Amy Jo. I can only find 3 is there any more that I don't know about? The thing about Amy Jo is she communicates really well unlike a lot of instructors, in my experience..she knows the different stages of your thought process which is what I find most helpful. More Amy Jo please

This is a perfect, simple workout for my daily routine. I’m a busy mom, so low impact, easy to follow and highly effective. With multiple back injuries and a weak pelvic floor (yes ladies), this is one of the few things left I can do that strengthens my body overall and doesn’t cause further injury. Thanks for this! I’m a fan!

Great work ot what keeps it interesting is the different ways of doing hiit in 20mins. I had done hiit for a while and got bored because I was literally spending the whole 20mins doing 30ecs on and 30secs off. With this workout the intervals are changed sometimes your standing sometimes your sitting down and the 60 second blast at the end was great too. Thank you!

Power workout is great, thank you. However, just some technique changes from a certified spinning instructor. Instead of pushing down with heels, think about pushing down with the balls of the foot. That is the point of contact on the pedal. Heels are hanging off so there is no leverage or power that can be transferred from the heels. Also, if you want to increase the intensity of the standing climb, lean forward and place hands on the top of the handle bars. The up and over portion of the pedal stroke comes from the hip flexors and the hip flexors are not able to do their job when the body is in full upright position. They need to be contracted. Finally, instead of mashing down (all quads), think about pulling the knees up and pulling up on the back end of the pedal stroke. That will activate the glutes and all other muscles in the legs. Again, not knocking the workout. Just trying to offer some safety and body position tweaks to give your subscribers a more powerful and efficient ride.

Gina Balsano thank u for this i noticed some issues while i was in full fully upright sprinting modes and i realized that it's not safe to do it. So i bent forward just a little bit on the handle from the waist.

I’m a man so it’s not ladies only! Now typically what’s the number of active calories in a 20 minute workout?
@GNX1575 жыл бұрын
You've got your physiology wrong. Quads hamstrings and glutes push/pull down thru and back. Your hip flexors will be the primary muscles pulling the knee back up, and they are relatively small muscles, so you don't want to overwork them by telling people to pull up a lot because they will tire easily. Mainly use the flexors to lighten or eliminate the rising pedal side so your downward side is not fighting itself (the body).
