The reason the eggs don't have the realistic reflection is because it would impact performance A LOT. I mean salmon run is already laggy but imagine if there are like 15 eggs (which there usually are) laying on the ground and the game has to calculate the reflections for each and every one of them. Reflections can be very complicated to calculate. Also most people have the original Switch form 2017 which does not have the best hardware especially for a newer game like Splatoon 3. The reflection of the eggs is basically just a image that helps it not look out of place with the map but keep it very easy to run. Also I don't actually know too much about game development so don't trust me too much but this is the most reasonable explanation.

Amateur game dev here, and you're actually right. Most games that have shiny/reflective objects have what's known as a "reflection map" assigned to them, which is an image that tells the object about what the reflections should look like. Most of the time it's some version of the environment that the object will often appear in. If each object's reflection is calculated on-the-fly, via raytracing or another method, this can impact performance, esp. if there are a lot of reflective objects. That's why most raytracing games need one of the really powerful RTX graphics cards right now.

Idk why but the lifesaver float you sit in before getting revived is so freaking adorable. Like the lil hop you get and you can just booyah in it? The Inkling/Octoling that got stuck in the flyfish mashing "Help!" was so adorable.

For Site 5 Kettle 6, you can get past the door even without taking damage by utilizing the pillars in front of it

There is dialogue in the second level where you have to conserve ink where if you get to the goal without killing a single enemy, you will get this special dialogue

Did you know, if you battle the deep cut again, if you finish the story, you get a special/custom dialogue, this being around ever since in splatoon 1 and 2 in Octavio final boss with custom/special dialogue

On eeltail alley, by walking near the phones while in recon, you can hear some kind of sound like someone is hitting something. It's probably a construction worker out of sight, but I like to believe some guy got stuck behind the wall and is trying to get out.

here's a little silly glitch :) if you go to the octoling level in after alterna if you use the zipcaster to "zip" into a different canned special your basically stuck in the middle of the air and can't get down lol

If you kill a fish stick with the cannons in salmon run only using splash damage the whole fish stick will break and it just fades away

I have no clue whether somebody has said this or not but, once you fully complete the Hero Mode (Defeat Mr. Grizz), you might be wondering "Hey! What happens to Grizzco now?" Well the Mr. Grizz carving got replaced to a Hugefry with Mr. Grizz in their mouth. But, it reverts back to the normal sculpture while you are playing a shift. Just a fun little thing I thought was cool.

Fun fact! I don't have footage, but a good strategy I use for salmon run when it gets hard, is if there are multiple slammin lids near each other, you can jump between them and they won't hit you off!

Yo detail I wanna point out. If you listen closely when standing to the non-enterable stores ie the phone stores you can hear faint music for each one, just like when you’re standing outside of the shoal or gizzco. This implies that even the stores you can’t even go into have their own music.

Heres some facts about salmon run Did you know in salmon run if you have the explosher you can use that to destroy the buckets in the flyfish boss. Also during a cohozuna round the golden egg cannon can 1 shot any boss if aimed right
