I heard that Mick Foley legitimately kicked out of the Pedigree since he thought the match shouldn’t end with a Steph interference and then a Pedigree. He told Trips to Pedigree him into thumb tacks. Damn Foley you scary.
@Kwert3 жыл бұрын
Apparently it was because the first pedigree missed a lot of the tacks and he thought the pedigree in the tacks would be more impactful. Trips had no idea he was going to do that, as you said.
@mangoman21483 жыл бұрын
Couldn't a thumb tack have gone through Foley's eyelids and legitimately pierced his eyeball? Did they shorten the tacks, or have Foley land on his chin to avoid that happening? It's a disturbing thought I've never been able to shake when seeing that spot.

5:54 Gotta agree with Adam wholeheartedly here. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to watch the full match, but even so I still love this moment. That more typical "WHAT IN THE BLAZES-" look that wrestlers do after a dramatic kickout is expected, and for good reason. It conveys that feeling of "I had them! This should be over! What do I do now?!" that the audience would expect from something like that. A feeling of anger and frustration that their strongest tool in their kit _still_ wasn't enough to actually finish off their opponent. However, replacing that with a pure drained look of "damn... now what?... where _can_ I go from here?..." after such a long build up to a moment like that just conveys how much the match has taken out of both competitors. Despite still having the advantage for the time being, it's clear that Okada is exhausted and feels like he just lost his opening to finish the match just from that one facial expression. It's such a good moment.
