I don’t think Scottie pippen jr is going to break out if the Grizzlies can stay healthy. I would say the best option is to trade him. The Grizzlies have so much depth at the guard position and he’s too good to be stuck on the Grizzlies and he can’t fully break out on this team.

Coaching the rockets is the hardest job in the league but also the easiest. There's 37 guys that deserve to play but you can't give everybody 25 minutes. There's so much young talent that might not be developing as much as it should, but at the same time they're literally all developing. Its also the easiest job because he could just point to 5 random guys and tell them to play and it would work. There whole team except vanfleet and stevo is positionless

@ superstar as in, a 20 ppg, 5 rebs, and 4 assists last season. That is a top-20 NBA player stat-line. Yes he is even better this year, but it’s hardly a breakout when you’re already a top-20 player.

Superstars are top 5-10 players, Franz has never been a superstar and still isn’t.
@TheModerateExtremist448Ай бұрын
@ so what are the top 1-4 players called? Super-superstars? 😂😂 okay bud. He is an elite scorer and has been since he entered the league and has gotten the minutes, and we see how he takes over when Banchero isn’t on the court. He is a superstar, whether you like it or not. If you think the top-15-20 NBA players are not superstars then you need your head checked. Lamelo isn’t a superstar? Tyrese Maxey isn’t? Anthony Davis? Devin Booker? Steph? I could probably argue all of them are outside the top-10 players today and NO ONE would say they aren’t superstars.

Lamelo takes a LOT of bad shots. And it's the reason his team is not winning. As the point guard, shooting 20 threes in a game with as many turnovers as assists is a losing playstyle. Hornets shot 25 times more than the Heat and STILL lost. He is their modern day Kemba. As long as he plays the way he does, he will never be a top 10 player let alone a top 10 point guard. He has the skill though and potential, just not the mindset. He still playing like he did in high school.
@Chance_2018Ай бұрын
But he’s efficient so it doesn’t matter
@jimsangreal7663Ай бұрын
Precisely! Other players are going to look terrible when they hardly have the ball in their hands. Between Ball's bad shots and basically only a few players eating at all, it's not winning basketball. I know it's not considered good form to sh*t on Kemba because of his injuries, but I always felt that his style of play was why some of those other players never developed at all. It's hard to develop and to stay engaged on both ends of the floor when the 6-8 shots you get per game are mostly putbacks or last thoughts ("grenades").
