Honestly this list is just scratching the surface. There's a lot more great looking Genesis/MD games in the works. Indie developers are really learning how to push that hardware. With software like SGDK and the Scorpion Engine, and audio tools like Deflemask and Furnace, it's never been easier to make games for the system. I hope this movement expands to other retro consoles as well. I'd love to see more indie games for the SNES, as well as the Sega CD, 32X, and even the 3DO. So many old consoles had untapped potential.

It is unbelievable how active the scene is. I have known for years how active micro computing still is. Suddenly. 16 bit consoles and 8 bit too are having a look in!

Most of these games are what makes a game It's simple yet fun and challenging One that caught my eye is definitely Astebros, looking forward to play it someday

Exactly. Modern day games are far too complex for their own good. Take far too long to development, and expect people to pay for add-ons too. I am done with modern gaming. I think it started going down hill around the PS4 era.

@@JustJamie1983 that's true! However I wouldn't said that the PS4 is when the downfall started (since that's when they actually peaked even a little), but PS5? Maybe Despite releasing one of the best platformers that's almost or maybe even better than it's rivals Mario that is Astro Bot, Sony isn't too focused on exclusives as of now and that would be the end since people can just play it on different devices AND cheaper prices Other than that, I think Retro games and consoles will continue to live on as time goes by because people will get tired of these modern company and will try something that's actually great and polished instead of playing a broken game with infinite patches

1.phantom gear *mess with phantom gear but i want to see it have depth. . 2.secrets of the 7 wind Like the look of it, would love to see it have a lot of gameplay n story . That first boss should have done more than just move back n fourth. . 3.demons is great new game for the genesis . Top 10 gen x game
