My 3 favorite words, " Let's get started." These words never disappoint and neither did this video. My favorite was right at the top, the scale made from a clock and wood. I had been bidding for months on different scales on an auction site. Imagine my delight when I could make one just the way I wanted and the size I wanted. Bye, bye pricy auction site hello my favorite inspiration piece. Happy New Year Sherry. You are such an inspiration. By the way, you are not alone you have thousands of people who love you. God bless you sweet lady.

@CanterburyCottage Hi Sherry! I appreciate everything you do from your amazing DIYs to the precise way you pronounce your words (I have hearing loss due to severe tinnitus and have problems following fast speech. Some KZbinrs speed through their videos like auctioneers to fit in as much content as possible.). Don’t ever change just to please someone who made a negative comment. Most likely they just want to start an online argument with anyone who will argue back. Those of us who are your loyal subscribers love you just the way you are and that’s why we are here for every video! And let me say that I loved the library card coasters, especially since one is from Cleveland where I am originally from 😁. Your subscriber, Debbie

Dear Sherry, I remember and loved every one of these projects! I made 14 of the 20 of them! Some, l reproduced twice and the Library Coasters w/ Caddy, l made those 7 times . (YES, SEVEN TIMES!) I didn’t sell any of them, they were all gifts! One set was actually a “Replacement” for myself, as my weekend guest “Stole” them right off the nightstand in my guest-room ! I didn’t notice until the next day when l went in to change the bedding and clean the room. She left a note on the nightstand right where the coasters had been. A letter of thanks and a apology for “stealing” them. Of course, l didn’t mind and l was flattered that she liked them that much! My personal favorite was your “Book Table” which l made two of. Thank goodness they’re too large to be “Stolen” without me noticing right away! I hope 2022 is full of Love, Happiness and Good Health for you and yours! Many thanks for all the joy and inspiration that you have given me! ♥️♥️♥️

I spent hours sewing a pair of Osh Kosh overalls for my small son staying up until 2:00 in the morning to finish them. I was so excited the next day to try them on him. The overalls fit and were so cute. However, my son, who previously loved wearing store-bought overalls, hated them and refused to wear them. I know the disappointment that comes with a flop project, but we learn from each experience. That was 30 some years ago and I can chuckle about it now. Oh, the pains we go to to “make it ourselves “ ! I thoroughly enjoy your channel! I’m so excited to open it up every Tuesday. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and projects with us.

First of all, you have the greatest imagination and foresight I have ever seen! I don’t know how you can keep coming up with these one of a kind pieces as much as you do. You are concise and easy to understand We get the jist of what you are doing. DH, if you have a tray that is large enough to hold your placemats, you can ModPodge felt to the bottom, so it won’t scratch your table. You could also just attach rubber bumpers (like those on cabinet doors) to the four corners. Just a thought.

The fern in the old chandelier is magnificent, but my absolute favourite is the white girl and boy busts where you drilled holes in their heads and stuck in some greenery. I've been on the hunt for a bust to thrift ever since! 😊

Thank you, Linden! I liked those, too. I don’t see busts very often at the thrift store either. You could always spray paint a bronze colored one should you come across one of those. Good luck!
