You might have mentioned it but the ARA function for Vocalign works fine if you open Logic in Rosetta. I do that all the time and then just switch out of Rosetta after I’ve bounced the tracks. Thanks for all of your videos….I’m a huge fan!

5:07 You inserted a plugin in mixer view and vertical mixer size was expanded automatically so that all slots and other mixer components are visible. What is a setting for that? I have to resize mixer height manually each time I insert a plugin. Thank you!

That's a great question. I'm not really sure. When I insert a bunch of plugins, the mixer automatically zooms up/expands up for me. But if I go and customize the boundary of the mixer manually, then add more plugins, it turns the feature off. But then if I clear the channel strip, and start adding plugins again, the feature comes back. I see no option for it in the mixer or in the View settings.

@@MusicTechHelpGuy I think I found a solution. I inserted all available plugins (audio and midi), all available send slots to make vertical mixer view max height. Then I disconnected everything, saved as project template (I previously cleared the undo history). Now Logic "remember" the max height of this template project and mixer resizes automatically while inserting plugins.

Bro there is way faster way to load audio in Melodyne in Logic (non-ARA). Load Melodyne in selection based processing. Turn on transfer in Melodyne and then render with the audio region you want to edit selected. Instant loss in melodyne for editing. Just make sure to mute the track it’s on while editing with playback because both Melodyne and the thank audio will play. After your down editing just refer again and if you want to save the raw audio selection add new take on the render menu. Then your melodyne work is never at the track level so you mix before editing in Melodyne if you need to.

I wouldn't call that easier, not for Melodyne at least. I've done that for printing Auto-Tune and MetaTune in place if I just need to correct a couple of notes here and there. It might work well for working with small regions one-by-one, but if you have multiple tracks worth of vocals that need to be tuned, you lose the ability to compare the pitch between the tracks. I often just learn the entire track's worth of vocals, and then tune then, then bounce in place to lock it in.

@ that is true if you need to do the comparison but if you are just doing leads than it makes the printing effect process faster.

My Logic Pro 11 presets don’t work! No guitar destortion, crunches, Nothing!

The presets in the plugins are missing? If so, you may want to do a quick re-install of Logic. Keep the sound library where it is, just delete the Logic app and re-install. Something must've gotten messed up in your first install?

@ I have 11.0.1. Zipped to upgrade to 11.1. My iOS is Ventura 13.7.1. Did not succeed. Should be 14 something. After that I lost the stock presets.
