This dude is such an introvert. This was painful but somehow satisfying to watch as a fellow intro. Huge fan, thanks Ari for your genius and care.

I don’t see that at all. I just see bland, dry interviewing question answer question answer style instead of an exciting 2 way conversation. His wit and humor suggest he’s not really an introvert, merely humorous and analytical

Ari is kinda dressed like Jack from the Shining in this video. Jack wore similar clothes in multiple scenes of the movie.

@@oheldenring6937 Him, Peele and Eggers. These guys are genius, and certainly to be looked at in the future. Peele a bit less, but it's just my opinion, since I prefer the other two.

BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU BRILLIANT! That desire to insert something unforgettably sick into the viewer's mind. You're my favorite director right now Ari.

i also dont get people who hate the ending to hereditary, same with the witch people make the same complaint that it was "too literal"

People will never see eye to eye. I loved the ending to hereditary. I read in his AMA that it was actually a bit gorier than it turned out.

just watched Beau Is Afraid the other day and somehow the film reminded me of Crewdson's photos, maybe not visually per se, but emotionally, the surrealness, mystery, etc.

Not sure how you guys haven’t learned that ari aster not only is incredibly shy but he has a stutter. Do yourself a favor and look up some info on the director that you claim to be “one of your favorites”. Before you complain….

How can you hear him say extroversion drains him and then only comment to call him a thinking introvert. Dude’s made a successful career from picking apart his feelings and portraying them in a stylistic medium that comes across as giant. Seems more infp like his new recurring cast member Joaquin Phoenix
