Have about 100 SNES games all in their original boxes with directions stored in containers. About 50 N64 games in their original boxes as well. Plus some Gameboy, DS etc. I don't have a massive collection but I value them immensely. All were bought when they originally came out.

@martincarnahan381 you had 100 original snes games when they came out? Wow I struggled to buy them they cost that much and I was like 10 at the time so I think I had around 8-10 at most.

@@Retro_Verse_ I'm in my 60's. And they didn't cost as much as they do today.

And it's not had. I still have them.

@@martincarnahan381 Ah fair enough so you were the right age at the time to afford them. I know my dad struggled at 60quid a game. What's your best game?

I am worried about buying cardbord snes games now when repro boxes look so simular as originals. Whats your tips for spoting fakes online? In real life a I know to look for blured pictures and logos and buy from collectors that say that then have owned the game for a long time.

@snoflan4399 Great question, In my experience and from research and others in groups asking the same, a key tell is on the tabs , genuine boxes have these little tiny notches on them. At first I thought they were box defects or just random bits of cardboard. But they are a good sign. If you like, you can msg me on Instagram, and I can show you some examples of what I mean. @retro_verse_ I'd be happy to offer any advice.

Tetris Attack is one of the best games ever made.
@Retro_Verse_14 күн бұрын
@user82938 of any system ever.... of all time? I'll have to play it for sure now then. I thought it would just be regular tetris just on the SNES.
@user8293814 күн бұрын
@@Retro_Verse_ I find it highly addictive. It's not regular tetris, it's based on swapping the positions of two blocks to match colors. However, the longer you play it, the better you get at thinking ahead and setting up huge combos, which is very satisfying.

Also, I really love the soundtrack.

Great video thanks. Makes me a bit nostalgic for the UK games I used to have! Love that cardboard. When I got back into SNES 8 years ago I went NTSC US CIB as I can’t be doing with 50hz nowadays. I have most of these in the US version now. Part 2 would be my pick from those

Alot of these I see on ebay in ntsc format and they are half the price and no where near as rare. There are loads of final fight 1,2 and 3.
