We all know that not all heroes wear capes. You don’t need to be Batman to do a good deed and help someone out. But some people really are superheroes even if they are just walking about in their regular clothes leading a regular life. From the confused soldier who did his duty anyway to the real life Spiderman who saved a baby from a terrible fate, here’s 20 Real Life Superheroes Caught On Camera Saving People

I can fully relate to the russian soldier. A few years back I saw a terrible accident. two cars toppled over, one smashed against a lamp pole. I was barely 20 back then and walked through a park as I heard the noise and sprinted to the car, towards the first door I saw to check on the passenger and before I grabbed it someone shouted "CUT"... I ruined a scene for "Alarm für Cobra 11", a german action series - but noone was mad. I got offered a water and thanks for my immediate reaction but everything was safe and under control. I felt stupid at that time but today I know I acted absolutely correct and adrenaline gave me tunnel vision. I did not see the camera and equiptment, only the wrecks

Daddy saw the smoke and ran over there and found the mom in the floor. Managed to ask her if anyone else was in the apartment? She said yes my baby. Daddy got on the floor out if the smoke snd crawled to the baby’s room and got a baby 6 mos old out of the baby bed and brought him out too. All before the fire dept ever got there. Minor thing, but the guy at 9:23 waving the green flag is a hero too. There's a very good chance the train driver couldn't see whether he'd just ran over a man and child or not, so when this guy starts waving the green flag around he knows he's safe.

I agree with you!! However, most soldiers will not be as police-like and take a man down with a simple, yet effective wrist lock and straight arm to bring you down. The "suspect" is holding a gun to a victims head, it most likely will be a far more quick and brutal move. I did not see a weapon on the soldier, so a few things are not even possible. And he seemed to walk at a regular pace, odd too. But if you are not there how can you judge? You can`t. Your comment is still great though!😲

The one with the train reminds me of a situation years ago when a person fell (I think) onto train tracks (between the rails), and seemed unable to get up as a subway train was approaching to make a stop. A hero jumped down - with no time to avoid the train - and told the person to just lie flat and still with him, and the train would clear them- which it did. The trains operator was told to keep the train still, and, once it was clear that the train's lack of motion had been assured, the 2 crawled out from under it. That was the bravest thing I'd ever read about, and the hero of course was hailed for his heroism, and, being a typical hero, he gave the standard "Aw, shucks" response. His name was Wesley Autry, and was know for a while as the "Subway Hero".

The guy he saved was having a seizure and stumbled off the platform before he and another Good Samaritan could get to him A quote from an article: ‘“Autrey jumped onto the tracks and, realizing there wasn't enough time to pull the New York Film Academy student off before the train hit them both, he put himself over Hollopeter, who was in a trench between the tracks and held him down. Five cars rolled over both of them before the train stopped. People were screaming. "We're OK down here," Autrey yelled, according to The New York Times. "But I've got two daughters up there. Let them know their father's OK." That was met with resounding applause -- and total awe.” He’s a Navy Vet too so he’s spent his life watching out for others. TRULY a brave man. PS Apparently he just won a publishers clearing house sweepstakes worth like $50,000

Just so you know, the CPR performed on the boy who drowned should have begun with two rescue breaths. The purpose of CPR is to circulate oxygen already in the bloodstream, but when someone has drowned, they have no oxygen in their blood. Thus, CPR for drowning victims MUST BEGIN WITH TWO RESCUE BREATHS, and two more rescue breaths should be given for every 30 chest compressions until the victim has resuscitated or the paramedics have taken over. If the victim begins to vomit, turn them on their side!

About 3 years ago my siblings and I were at a small isolated lake in the mountains for a walk with our dog. We were hanging out on a small dock where an older man and his 8 year old daughter were sitting while he was fishing. We turned to leave and about halfway off the dock we heard a loud splash and the girl screaming. It was like some kind of instinct kicked in and I immediately ran back and jumped into the water. The man apparently passed out and luckily because of all of the adrenaline I, a teenage girl weighing 120lbs was able to lift him, a grown man weighing about 200lbs+ up from sinking and pulled him back to the dock so my siblings could lift him up. Once he came to he explained how he had just gone into remission after having cancer and came to his cabin in the forest with his daughter to celebrate. There weren’t any other people at that lake at the time, we were so lucky to be there at the exact moment.

This seemed like a good video but that clip just ruined it, it had no purpose in a hero's compilation. The parents were taking a selfie and I guess it was the mom holding the phone so thats how she lost her grip on her baby. It was foolish but no one was found criminally responsible since this was an accident. It happened in India btw.

Growing up there was a long lane from the farmhouse we grew up in, and we always rode our bikes as fast as we could and then put on the brakes last second for fun every morning to get to where the school bus picked us up at the end of the lane. I was flying down the lane then my chain came off my bike and I must have only been in like grade 3 or so. My brother a couple years older than me was already at the end of the lane and he seen me coming but he didn't know what I was doing 'cause I didn't know how to tell him that I couldn't stop. I started peddling backwards and forwards like crazy to get him to see and so he stood in front of my bike and put his hands out gripping both sides of the metal handle steering part. He used himself to stop me going any further and as soon as it was done a car passed by the highway where I was headed

I think we are all agreed. In the trash and trivia of the modern world, we can find ordinary people doing extraordinary things...and they admit they don't think of themselves as heroes, just acting on the spur of the moment. What instinctive goodness and kindness most peope have ... even if it takes a crisis to reveal it.

I didn't think these videos would've brought up so much emotion but well..😭 ( I will also state PTSD sucks) back in June our home caught🔥 first on seen was the fire chief, no fire truck tho (for 30mins) I'm the one that went back in upstairs, got my disabled mother, went back in(house now full of billowing black smoke), saved my last remaining dog (we had lost his mom and sis just a month & 6 months prior) then tried to spray the side of the house with the house🙄 to form some kind of barrier (🔥 started in garage, burned hot) sorry for babbling. To the firefighters that DO what they do I salute you and may you be blessed and safe. Oh and I and am also disabled

My little four-year-old granddaughter was outside with her doggo on a leash. I was watching her from the window. Suddenly, the dog got free and ran towards a busy street! I ran after, but, due to health, could only hurry. A couple doing lawn work across the street could see where the child ran and that I was on my way. They assured me she was okay and assured whoever I couldn't see that I was on my way! As I rounded the corner, I saw that some man had stopped with his emergency flashers going. He had my granddaughter and her dog up on the sidewalk, holding them there. I was so grateful! There's a saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." That day, my village came through for me! Many blessings to the gentleman who helped us!

@@kellygadry8109 That is a bizarre number but still pays better than Crime Stoppers. Out of about $60,000 promised for help solving rape and murder cases and locating escaped convicts I got a total of $75 bucks. When they say Crime stoppers will pay up to a certain amount it is a smoke screen to trick you into doing the police officers job for them. And they do not keep your name anonymous either. It's a big fat lie! They will pay you up to $5,000 dollars to help solve Renee Bells murder. Don't mean you will ever see a penny! I did not. And that is just one case! Here lately in Georgia they offered $500.000 thousand for information on the Kendrick Johnson case! Now where are they getting that kind of bread from? Sounds like the biggest lie from Crime stoppers yet to me!
@kellygadry8109
@kellygadry8109 Жыл бұрын
@@timspinks4892 That is crazy. But I agree. Where are they getting that kind of money? So how do they base the money they give you for helping? Does it depend on how much the tip helps them or something? I knew the crimes stopper thing was to get the public to do the officers job but that is messed up that they don't give you the amount stated. Not saying I would but out of curiosity, could you take them to court to get the full amount stated for helping them? I've never dealt with crime stoppers before. I was also commenting on the amount cause it was 666, an evil number.

I was prepared to point out that the man that was already there had a grip on the child, perhaps with both hands and his lady companion seemed to be holding him to provide stability. Yes. There is a partition, but it didn't seem to be so wide as to prevent the man from holding the child... HOWEVER... A few frames earlier, shows the man from Mali almost there before the resident and friend make physical contact with the child. Tells me that I should watch a video more closely before opening my mouth. Regardless; I'm happy all involved are safe. Thanks again. Warmest.

Those children must have been horrified, and defiantly couldn't breathe. That gentleman broke the window, with his hands, and climbed into the flames, unprotected to save those poor children from what potentially would be a unimaginable passing. Adrenaline took over, and his life didn't matter, only saving those children did. Major props, and so many thank yous to him, wow!!
