People really need to understand that rejection isn't that bad, it's actually the best thing someone who is not interested by u can do, because there are people who will literally say yes because they are tired of being alone, and then they will leave u the minute they find someone that they like more..., and they would make u lose a lot of time and energy during the relationship and after it as u will need to recover from it, Without mentioning how toxic that relationship could have been, with all their inconsistency, and rudeness... You forgot to put "if" in it. Imo the best relationships that ever happen are the ones which come out of friendship .. cz they know you and think a lot before taking any decision of YES or NO. But in case both of you are not well versed or strangers, the chances of rejection are higher and you should always be prepared for it, both in case of known and unknown person. The thing is nowadays media and everywhere, women are given authoritarian power of "No Means No" which is alright in most contexts and even relation Yes or No .. but due to this many girls who could just take their time with their decision, just react on the spot(and there's nothing can be done afterwards). Well anyway .. the 20 seconds thing is not first time talked about .. it is the truth actually. Cz there are 2 major probabilities here- Either a Yes or a No ... But if you never take the step of having this courage of 20 seconds, you'll regret all your life. It is one of those extraordinary situations where you have to get over your normal senses, your nature and personality and found a self within which is going to do this task and then after that small period, you are back to normal again.

Well, a few weeks ago I got that courage and I said "I love you" to the girl I really liked. We had a sad backstory, but I thought I need to say it to her. And I got rejected. Y'all have to hear this gentlemen, if you get rejected after your 20 seconds of insane courage; it's not entirely bad as you think but you lost your desire. If you succeed of getting accepted by a girl/boy for romantic relationship: it's a great win. But what about getting rejected by her/him? Actually it's a great relief of releasing your love for that person because the longer you keep it and not expressing it to her/him; the more devastating it will be to your mental health at any time if you know something like "she has a boyfriend", and you might keep a constant developing feeling of worthlessness if it's unjustified. It counts as unfortunate but a lesson to learn from for improvement and time to move on for the better of yourself, if you did make yourself better/improved; you will have a higher chance of getting one soon, it's up to y'all. 😊
