Ruffa Gutierrez, 1993 Miss World 2nd Runner Up from the Philippines wore a black rhinestoned embedded Bob Mackie gown during MW finals in South Africa. Bob Mackie creations were common way back in early 90s to 2000s.

Mexico's gown designer won "best evening gown" twice, the first was on 2020 with Angela Yuriar, miss grand México 2020, and now with Laysha Salazar in that amazing two piece green gown

Ghana’s gown is by UNKUNIYA from Thailand. If you look up pics from last year’s event you can see Abena wearing a similar gown by them as she crowned Queen Tiên.

Do the contestants purchase their own gowns or does the pageant provide one for them? And if so why is it that in some pageants the contestants are all wearing the same outfit for swimwear but different outfits for the gown competition? Great video as always Dani.

Miss grand UK's evening gown is actually made by Rian Fernandez from pH who also created Rbonney's finals evening gown

Job 26:7 ESV He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing. If the beauty pageant is called Miss Universe, the judges don't necessarily have to choose a few countries. There is no difference between the top five places each year. Like the stars, each country is also a competitor, so we must be aware and remember that the earth rotates in space and does not stop in the same position. You don't have to be European or American white or black, beautiful Hispanic, Indian or Filipino, Asian. What about Chinese beauty queens and Korean women or Japanese?

Pakistan gown is very good and stunning. She didn't make it to the Top 20 because Miss Grand looks for someone with a very proportional body and grand performance. Plus I think personally when she complained about the flight delay from Bali to Jakarta, The Director saw it obviously and it was not considered a queen attitude.
