What a mess of a pageant
@tirsoacebu40407 сағат бұрын
I've noticed in most pageants that the awarding for the 1st runner-up is not okay. The focus always goes to the winner whereas the other runner-ups have their moments. Same thing I noticed in this year's Miss America. I felt like the 1st runner-up was not recognized. I'm not sure if this kind of a mess has something to do with the host/s.

Wait I thought she said Vietnam was in top 6 because she was the popular vote though? Like people’s choice? So I’m confused by the outrage.

Quynh Nga is an editor at Vietnam National Television, so she must be very good at interviewing
@seanshano4769 сағат бұрын
@ the criticism is that it does not sound like something she would say herself, which is valid because watching all her other interview clips from media, I can see that being true. In her defense though, candidates prepare differently for onstage questions vs. on-cam questions.

I honestly think my most favorite part of these shows is watching these brilliant, accomplished women embrace each other when the winner is announced. I love seeing that. Even though I know it’s a disappointing moment for the 1st RU, it’s very encouraging to see them both support one another at crowning, especially when that support continues after crowning.

Honestly, the state pageant was unfair to you. They should offer sponsorship for things you will actually NEED.
@DaniWalkerКүн бұрын
You can't force businesses in your state to sponsor you. Montana isn't a "pageant" state, so they don't offer much support to titleholders.

Ms.Michelle Dy she's soo iconic perfect body & beauty very talented, & brains. She look soo gorgeous very brilliant perfect in visual & her pose & the way she walk in ramp way it's soo insane but the judges cheated the result of Miss Universe, that supposed Philippines will be the one to win at that moment for MU Michelle Dy of Philippines❤❤🎉

THE COURAGE THE DIGNITY that Magali has had will help change many things in M.U. and the next contestants will receive the benefits. For me, what MISS UNIVERSO ARGENTINA did after the contest was... it is the best social project of the 127 participants and an example of human empowerment and an example of the fight for truth, justice and DIGNITY.

I noticed that all latinas in pageants, when they smile, the teeth have to be seen up to to the molar areas, is that a requirement since it is very obvious , theirs are surgically fixed.

May I tell you miss Dani. Beauty pageants should be changed into a competition of Aesthetic Surgeons. I will be convinced their platforms willl be more believable and more bearing than the women. And mostly, these surgeons are male. So then, we are going back to the male empowerment.

I’d love to see you review past editions of Miss USA and Miss Universe, particularly from the late 2000s. Back then, the judges' scores were displayed on screen, so it would be fascinating to hear your insights on how the judging unfolded during that era. One of my favorite editions ever is Miss USA 2008.

Production wise, they didn't reinvent the wheel and nor di d they needed to. They just kept what Osmel and his team did. Why change anything that had already worked.
