@@trueblueclue I think while yes the potato is more profitable than kale in general, in smaller numbers, the difference between the amounts you'll get back in week 2 of spring 1 when using either potatoes or kale is hardly existent. You'll still end up with 12k-15k when everything is optimized to begin with and you don't really have enough energy to be spending on more than 100 strawberries

@foxblaze15054 жыл бұрын
@@d-swagg9683 It's doable if you take advantage of the salmonberry season and other enery food like leeks and dandelions, where time becaises the only issue. Highest amount of strawberries I was able to get Y1 was something like 210, though when the new update came out with the 4 corners map I started a new save and was only able to get 160 this time. And yeah, potatoes are def the way to go, however it's also a good idea to get some parsnips for the last couple days before it's too late to plant potatoes to gain profit towards getting strawberries, that's what I do anyway

IMO, being a noob in your first year and making mistakes is actually the immersive way to play Stardew. You were a city boy and you suddenly decided to tend a farm, a deserted one in fact with no known internet. So, I guess fumbling on early days and possibly having an unexpected deficit in your budget are part of learning.
@stalcry023 жыл бұрын
i feel this lol cuz i really did have so much fun the first time i ever played but bc i got curious and watched videos like these i feel like i should be doing everything perfectly now :’(
@skyshroudsylvan60223 жыл бұрын
@@stalcry02 There's different types of stardew players. Not sure if a person can instantly be perfect or want to. My farm, in my game, isn't as aesthetic as I'd want it to be. Seeing the videos of people's farms on videos kind of makes me discouraged, but it makes money quick lol. I would suggest using mods, such as the CJB cheats menu. You don't have to use cheats to win, but it takes some of stress away for bundles. After playing the game legitimately, the first time around, it has become a lot easier to manage time.

"And only use the fertilizers on multiple harvest crops like green beans." NO NO NO. Don't use them on multiple harvest crops. They only work on the first harvest anyway so it's not worth it. High value single harvest crops should be what you fertilize. Also a lot of these are play style. If someone wants to play for money and a cool looking farm, Joja and selling lots of things might be how they play. If someone is really into the relationships with Npc's they might want marriage and kids as soon as possible. It's a game you can do whatever you want with, there isn't a specific goal that everyone has.

the cave becomes useless and that one choice is better made with the more game time spent after year one. so, with bats you can tile the floor and use the space for other things like a tea and coffee cave. a treasure cave, storing and showing off some cool items. so, it is easy to get all the mushrooms by winter if you open the secret woods and make friends and mine. the wizard gives purple mushrooms in the post. if you pick mushrooms, the boxes take up space and sort of "lock" the theme of this space. i pick bats for the future game with far more days beyond the 1st year. mushroom cave is a choice for early game but eventually means nothing. bats are for the long term thinker's God bless disobey tyranny much love

Disagree on the sprinklers. It costs a ridiculous amount of energy to water your plants just starting out, and if you don't want to spend so much energy watering your plants, you have to ante up quite a lot of gold and resources to upgrade your watering can. Sprinklers offer permanent benefit. Every day you can use the energy lost from watering on fishing or mining to earn a profit. It probably takes less than a week for sprinklers to pay for themselves if you're doing your best to use your energy efficiently.

I picked the bat cave and only got the greenhouse in summer of my second year because i couldn’t finish the artisan bundle without a fruit tree and they take a whole season to grow and only produce fruit in one season unless you have a greenhouse. Havent harvested my mushrooms in like two seasons because i have like 50 of each and i never use them.
@BoredMarcus3 жыл бұрын
@@Bumbybleh I finished the community center in year 1 with the mushroom cave on multiple playthroughs. Also you can't say it saved you 20.000 gold, since you really only need apple and pomegranate for the bundles. They cost 10.000 and you also make profit out of the fruits for a long time. And you need them for the Bulletin Board, so you can complete the greenhouse first and plant the trees there making you independent from seasons. Because of that I think the mushrooms are the the better choice, I do agree though, the fruit bats aren't bad. I also had playthroughs where I chose the fruits and I was very happy with it. This video makes it seem like there is only one choice, but depending on the playstyle the fruits may be the better one.
@divatashi2 жыл бұрын
I agree. I’m on my first play through and I’m struggling to get the greenhouse. I picked the mushroom cave. I picked it because all of the Reddit threads said its better to have a steady income via mushrooms but I’m up to my second year spring and it’s getting painful waiting an entire season to possibly get the fruit I need. I feel like if I picked the fruit cave, once I got the artisan bundle done and didn’t need the extra fruit anymore, it would’ve been a steady income via selling fruit anyway.

I have an evil character who's plan is to climb up the hierarchy and become the owner of joja, to destroy it from the inside. He couldn't succeed and came up with a better plan. Moved to stardew valley, befriended everyone, then became a joja member and ruined the town. He became a respectable member of joja and years later fufilled his plan. Not only he shut down joja, but also ruined pelican town, and made half of the townspeople leave. I also did Pierre's darkest timeline, which means i married abigail (i fucked his business and his daughter). Rp-ing in stardew is super fun.

I was with you all the way until the last tip. Common guys, it really isn't that hard to keep your spouse happy. Get into a habit of talking to them, kissing them, and giving them a like or love gift every day. When you get to the point of marriage, you are likely not short on supplies so you can easily give them daily gifts, and it literally takes 5 (in game) minutes out of your day to do this. Seriously, you have no excuse to ignore your spouse. If you keep them at at least 10 hearts or higher, they will do things around the farm for you, namely watering your crops, feeding the animals, and giving you breakfast, including coffee. As for kids, I can completely agree with you on that. Kids are completely useless, and that is one of the huge gripes I have with this game. They are just for show. I'm still waiting for a mod that makes it so your kids do chores for you.

some nitpicks from my experience: 3:17 “dont craft sprinklers yet” it all depends on how u want to play but it is definitely worth it to get sprinklers early game. energy will be ur biggest limiter during this time, and having to manually water crops will leave u without any energy at the end of the day and will also limit how many crops u can grow. you can actually get (normal quality) sprinklers by the first egg festival if you rush the mines. with this you will have more energy and can therefor make more profits 4:33 “don’t go mining on a bad luck day” unless u are trying to clear 15+ floors a day, if you have bad luck that day you can still clear floors easily. its not ideal but it’s def still possible 5:29 “don’t choose the fruit bat cave” both the mushrooms and fruit bats have pros and cons, but both serve a purpose. mushrooms are best for early day mining trips where you can eat them for energy. fruit bats are best for the community center (specifically getting the greenhouse before winter). neither will make u much money late game so it’s useless to compare the profits 6:48 “don’t join joja” everybody has a different preferred playstyle so saying that it will “ruin the experience” is just wrong. joja is a more straight forward route where you can unlock the perks of the community center quicker and with little to no effort 7:07 “don’t marry early” it’s up to the player when they want to marry, unless you are spending ridiculous amounts of gold getting gifts for them there’s literally no harm in it

1) building the silo takes 3 days. Even worst case thats not an issue or a ton of money. If you can't afford it just don't feed them for a few days. they start with 0 affection anyways. 2) if you do just buy 5-10 grass starters and you are good. 3) you can just syphon the trees outside your farm. not like you will make a ton of money with these things early on either way. These only make sense once you got the resources to build a ton of barrels and got lvl 10 in farming. 4) Its not bad at all. Field snacks are nice, but you can get spring onions and starting with the 13th salmon berries au masse. 6) if you have to watch this guide you probably won't be able to finish the cc on your first year anyways. Its your first game? Just have fun and try stuff out. Don't worry about the community center too much. There isn't much endgame in Stardew Valley anyways. The natural progression is set up so you can try your hand in all kinds of things in year one and have nearly all of year two to go for completion 7) not really true unless you completely fill out your farmspace. Most crops are pretty balanced if you consider your initial investment and time they need to grow. If you play for maximum gain though cauliflower is the one thing you SHOULDNT go for, since you won't get your payout in time for the egg festival and miss out on strawberry seeds. 8) incorrect. Fertilizer will stay in the ground for all season. Additionally it only works for your first harvest on multi-harvest crops. So not only isn't it better, its actually worse to use it on multi-harvest crops. For multi harvest crops - most of the time - you should go with speed-gro, since you will be able to get an additional harvest. Never Fertilizer. 9) doubtful. Time is the scarcest of resources. True - gold, iron and quarz will be somewhat rare in the beginning. Which is why you should use these limited resources to invest in the most effective and highest grossing thing you can: Farming. Nothing will make you as much money as farming, and there is no higher payout for 3 bars of semi-precious material than being able to water 8 additional crops without spending time on it. Also: Nothing will suck the fun out of the game as fast as watering 120+ crops every single day. 11) meh. this applies to very, very few items in the game. Most of them you can get easily at any time. Saving every single thing without knowing why and what for only leads to having 10 stuffed chests and less money to work with early on. Especially the timed quests are utterly worthless. Do 10 of them for the achievement and then forget they ever existed. They are almost never worth the time. 13) meh. Even a bad luck day still means you can progress by 20 levels at least. So you can start the next good luck day 20 levels deeper, which results in a much better payout. Not saying you should always go to the mines, even with bad luck. But you should know what you are aiming for. Until you hit lvl 100 you play for the chests (obsidian sword, space boots, stamina fruit and the 5 bars of metal for your pickaxe) and elevator. Having these items will speed up your mining so much. 14) never go into the mines carrying anything either way, since you wat your inventory free. 15) not many gold quality items from summer/spring will be worth putting up for the display. No one cares for your gold quality parsnip. You can make all the stuff you need in 2-3 days in autumn and with your fall crops. I say this for two reasons. your skill level will be much higher in autumn and getting high quality items will be much easier. But additionally you just don't seem to get that every bit of money you make early on will have easily quadrupled until autumn even if you play casually. Selling your gold quality tubers will make you able to buy 4 more strawberries, which will make you able to buy 15 more melon seeds, which will enable you to buy 50 more pumpkin seeds, etc. Things that seem valuable in spring 1 will most likely be average at best by the time you reach the fair. Making money in SV goes fast. So always invest early. The only item that comes to mind, which is really worth Savin up would be a gold star starfruit from summer. But besides that fall will give you better farming, fishing, mining and scavenging. 16) worst advice I have ever heard regarding the game. Fruit cave will give you every single fruit you need to finish the community center without wasting a single piece of gold on fruit trees. Fruit are great gifts for villagers. You can make wine out of fruit. But most importantly: -> the fruit in the bat cave is forage. As such you will have a chance for double drops and will always get iridium quality with your lvl 10 perk
@starchild22996 жыл бұрын
Yes, very good. But you still go for min-max, with for example the timed deliveries being trash. Even if they are bad, they are fun. Don't focus on completing the game as fast as possible with earning the most amount of money possible. Just relax and have a good time. If you want to complete something as fast as possible, what does that tell you? That you don't like it. And why else would you min-max if not to get done with it quicker. Anyway you're a smart one, your thoughts are my thoughts exactly.
@TheVergile6 жыл бұрын
disagee. Everyone has their own way to play. I actually enjoy restarting and optimizing the first year more than doing a 20 year play through. (specially since SV is a game with not a lot of endgame content). Some people enjoy playing slowly, some enjoy the challenge of optimizing. But regardless of that my point was that you shouldn't do a guide if what you say is technically not correct or irrelevant.
@thanatos86186 жыл бұрын
"8) incorrect. Never Fertilizer." Was this referred to a previous version? Because currently it's the opposite of what you said. Fertilizers works for all harvests of multi-harvest crops (tomato, corn, strawberry etc). It DOESN'T work for the extra crops received from potatoes, blueberries, coffee beans etc. Speed-Gros will speed up only the initial harvest. The subsequent harvest won't be affected. It's still worth using Gros on those just for the extra harvest though. Specially for those the quality doesn't matter, since you are going to wine/preserve those crops. I got your point of never go for fertilizer. Well...they are useful before you are able to wine/preserve crops. Until you got to that point, you will want more quality from multi-harvest crops. Also the first fertilizer is very easy to craft on early game, while the first Gro is somewhat costly and hard to craft. I can't think of a better use of Sap in this early stage of the game. Edit: I forgot to mention that fertilizers (of all kind) disappears if used on single-seasonal crops, as the first day of the next season arrives. Only if using on multi-seasonal crops you will be able to maintain the fertilizer in a season change.
@TheVergile6 жыл бұрын
yeah, actually some confusion mixed into my original content. It has to do with the two definitions of "multiple harvest". Crops that produce mature fruits more than once benefit from the fertilizer even after the first time harvesting it. Fruits that produce more than one item per harvest (coffee, berries, etc) however do not benefit as much, since only one of these spawned items per plant is actually affected by soil quality.
@thanatos86186 жыл бұрын
I was wondering if you meant that, but when you said "first harvest" it clearly sounded like your meaning of "multi-harvest" was many harvests per seed. Normally we use "basic harvest" for, but I got your point. However, now disregarding the "multi-harvest", I'm still curious about your statement "Fertilizer will stay in the ground for all season". You meant "all seasons/whole year" or "the whole single season"?

The way the Mushroom Cave works is you basically get 6 random mushroom every like 3-4 days. Each of those boxes in the Mushroom Cave will have a mushroom. Pick them all at the same time and like 3-4 days later, you will have 6 more. I always hear that the Bat Cave is the worst of the two options because it is so inconsistent on how many fruits you will get and on how long it will take to get them. Where as the Mushroom Cave basically guarantees you 6 mushrooms every 3 or 4 days so long as you remember to pick them regularly.

I know it might be an unpopular opinion but in my experience a lot of these are kinda bad tips You mentioned buying melons when blueberries are far more profitable for one thing and also the whole thing with sprinklers, its very easy to aquire metal in your first year if you make sprinklers. The time and energy you save with simple quality sprinklers far outwieghs the time it takes to get the stuff to make them. This is my personal opinion from someone who in a play through rn makes roughly 5000 a day in early fall on an unproductive day

They also ripen faster, which means you can harvest more of them and earn plenty of money that way. Also, when there's 4-5 days left in the season and you've got some open ground, it's a good way to earn a bit extra before the season ends.
@Skrymaster6 жыл бұрын
Only at the beginning of the game, and only because you need some levels asap, and you don't have that much money. Low profit fast growing crops have a slightly higher xp gain/ gold spent on them, plus you get the experience in parts , but along with bringing little profit, they also require more space to grow/total gold invested in seeds, and thus eat up alot more daily energy one could spend doing other important things. Ideally one would only consider them up until about lvl 4/5 farming, after which only growing about 9-18 or so of each just to have them on hand for bundles/quests/whatever. There are however some low profit crops that are actually really good but only if you have the means to process them properly. Wheat for instance can be used in the mill to make flour, but better yet, can be used in kegs to make beer, hops can be used for pale ale, and they suddenly become really profitable really quickly. Beets in autumn can be used in the mill to make 3 sugar/beet. Flowers are basically only useful if you've got beehives, but that's not really a good investment, since the only good honey is fairy rose honey, and that's only in autumn.
@SadisticSenpai616 жыл бұрын
Flowers are really good gifts for a lot of ppl in town. I usually grow them for that reason and then once I get max hearts, I never bother with flowers again unless I married one of the ppl that love a flower (like Penny who loves poppies).

Real tip: Buy the chicken coop and get as many chickens as you want. The name glitch also works for them. When you name a chicken with certain item numbers covered with brackets like [74] for prismatic shards, you get them whenever you hear its name getting mentioned. You can get up to 3 items per name "[74][etc.][etc.]" If you wanna get more everyday, change your name to it and talk to gus. Everytime he mentions your name, you get the item. I recommend [74][454][434] for stardrops, prismatic shards, and ancient fruit.

When I first clicked this I was curious as to why it has so many dislikes. After watching, I know now. Most of these tips are great, like getting a silo before cutting all your grass and getting a coop or barn, save trees for tappers instead of cutting them all down, save the seeds for field snacks, go to bed before 1am, wait until you can craft the quality sprinklers, wait until rain or winter to upgrade the watering can, don't walk around with a tool selected, avoid the mine on a bad luck day, keep gold quality stuff for the fair, avoid the trashcans around NPCs, don't sell the ancient seed artifact. But the other tips are... well terrible. Don't speed run Spring? What does that even mean? Collect everything you can in spring, year one or you have to wait until year two! Don't buy parsnips or other low cost crops? You need these things for the community center. You can't get five gold parsnips if you don't buy and plant them. Don't fertilize your crops? Are you insane? You can make basic fertilizer with the sap you collect from chopping down trees. It costs nothing and gives you better quality crops for more money and the gold quality bundle. Don't carry valuables into the mine? Yo, if you fuck up just save scum. Quit the game and reload, especially if you lose 140 iridium ore! Good lord, man. Don't choose fruit bats? That depends on how quickly want to finish the Community Center. If you want to do it quickly you will need those fruits which can be turned into wine or used for energy or gifts. Most of the towns people don't like mushrooms but they do like fruit! Don't join Joja? Maybe not for your very first play through, but if you want that achievement you'll need to pick one time to go with them. Just know it's expensive and you will lose out on those friendship points. DON'T GET MARRIED? What's wrong with you, Sharky? You married Leah, that's why she appears useless. She's moody! Honestly, you should get married as soon as you possibly can. Your spouse will provide you with gifts a couple times a week (which often you can give right back to them and they'll enjoy it!) and once you get to 13 hearts you get a stardrop! Plus the achievement for getting married and there's another one for having kids!
@gitgud47373 жыл бұрын
Of course joining joja cop will losing some of important especially bundles has many good stuff for early game if you can complete them I got quality sprinkler easily without worry crafting, marry is optional if you can do it If you are too busy with the mission and forgot to talking it will reduce her/him faster each days

Why on Earth would you clear the whole farm right at the start? It's an unfathomable waste of time and there's no way in your first year you could even come close to using 25% of the space. And why would you sell the tree seeds? They're barely worth anything anyway.
@scarletrose87665 жыл бұрын
i think its more clearing the trees (i usually clear the trees) which are also in the way of my pathing but im most likely deforesting my farm (until i get my sap until then i still keep some tree seeds) for the sap to put them on a place i want them to be anyway im guessing clearing the field for the resources ...... generally wood and stone are kinda what you want out of the way
@shortbolts64144 жыл бұрын
I know it's an old video, but I'm still gonna make a list of all your points and my opinion :P. 1. Agreed. I always leave building my Coop/Barn till Winter, as there's not much to do in your first winter. 2. Another good point. Just try to not touch the grass and get a Silo built within the first 1-2 weeks. 3. Chopping all trees down are fine, since you can replant them off of your farm and put tappers on them. Save your space on your farm for farming, and use the town to your advantage! 4. Yes, you should keep all your seeds. BUT, don't waste them on field snacks. You should only struggle for food/energy for the first 2 weeks. Try getting your Foraging to level 4 before the 15th, so you can collect Salmonberries from the 15th-18th. With level 4 foraging, you can net about 200-300 berries, which will last until at least Fall 8th (When Blackberries are on the bushes) 5. Still a good point now. Better yet, try getting yourself to bed as early as possible, unless you are fishing or in the mines. If you're doing neither of these things, then just water/sort your plants out, run around foraging/looking for worms, get everything else you feel you need to do then go to sleep. There's no point staying up really late unless it gives some sort of benefit, like getting more fish, ores or other things like that. 6. Focusing on the community centre is all good at the start, but it's best to use the first year to make as much money as possible. Try to get around 8-10k before the 13th so you can spend it on Strawberries (Best plant in spring). To do this, you'll want to spend the majority of time fishing. Only go into the mines on the 5th and then 1-2 extra days (Depending on luck) for copper ore/coal etc, but spend the remaining time fishing for money. After the 13th, you can look into getting all the other crops needed for the bundles. 7. Good point. Buying the lower costing seeds nets you basically no increase. You may go up a few hundred, but within that time, you could have planted and harvested something that can give you a few thousand. 8. Yes, only make your own fertilizer, the basic one requiring 2 saps is all you really ever need. As for using it on crops that give multiple crops, this should only really be done with Strawberries (Spring) Blueberries (Summer) Cranberries (Fall), otherwise it's just a waste of fertilizer. Use it on Sweet Berry seeds as well if you're planning on selling them all. 9. DON'T DO THIS ONE! Aim for hitting level 6 in farming as soon as possible, as well as getting to either floor 80 of the mine (For gold ore) or 100 (For the stardrop). Then, depending on which ore/bar you need, go to these floors. 21 for copper, 41 for Iron (Go from 41-49 for Dust sprites as well if you need coal) and 81 for gold. Make as many quality sprinkers as you can as soon as you can, because this will save you a LOT of energy which can be used to do other things (Like mining for 100's of a type of ore a day). 10. Still a good point. Never do it if you need to water the next day, so always check the TV to see tomorrow's weather. 11. Still a good point now. Store EVERYTHING except for gems (Sell gems up until you have Sttawberries on the 13th, then start saving them). Only thing I will say is it's fine to sell all animal products, as long as it's not needed for the community centre. 12. Made this mistake the first time I ever played and collapsed in the middle of town. Always walk round with your scythe or sword out, as they don't use energy when swung. Just a quick thing, loving how it's a comment about the unlucky day whilst being point 13. I see what you did there! :P 13. This doesn't matter, at all. A very good luck day is only 0.2 to luck, a very bad day is -0.2. This doesn't really affect anything. I've gotten some of the hardest to find artifacts on very bad days, plus my first ever prismatic shard. So, don't fully work around good and bad luck days. 14. Still one of my most hated mechanics of this game. I always only ever take my sword and a pick into the mines, after I had lost some really good stuff through the deaths. 15. Sell all the gold quality you want! For the fair, get Marnie's friendship up to level 2, and when you get the quest to find the mayors shorts, don't give them to him. You can showcase his shorts and you'll get 750 tokens for doing so. 16. For the community bundles, ALWAYS CHOOSE THE BAT CAVE! You can save THOUSANDS because of it, thanks to it giving you all the fruits needed for the bundles, plus other things. The Mushroom cave is only really useful if you're using the "Minerva's harder CC mod", as Mushrooms are hard to find, but you usually find 1-3 of each by the end of the second season. 17. Do it for the fun of it :D. It does slow down the friendship progression, but it's not that difficult to get back up. 18. Still follow this advice. The MOMENT you get the seed, give it to Gunther and get your seed that you can plant. Ancient seeds grow from Spring to Fall, so all 3 months, so it's good to get it stockpiling up as soon as possible. 19. Totally agree with this. I only ever did it on 1 save file to get the achievement, but I ALWAYS go for the community centre, as it adds something to work towards. I mentioned this mod earlier (Minerva's harder CC) which I've recently started using, and that adds even more to the game, so if you're bored of the regular community centre, make it harder! :D 20. Marry as soon as possible. You'll want to get someone to 13 hearts to gain one of the stardrops (stardrops increase your energy by 34, and there are 7 in total you can get). If you've read through all of this, then I thank you. I know it's a MASSIVE comment lmao.

I am in the start of fall now and I have barely gone down the mines, like literally I am just about in floor 13. Yep, that said, I have level 8 in farming and fishing... I really love fishing in this game and I kinda hate combat in this game. Plus my farm is kind of massive so watering my crops makes more very short time and little energy for cave diving. I should start eating all the things I am growing and catching, I have stored so many fish of all quality and a lot of crops as well, even though I am getting to the point that I am fishing up mostly silver and gold quality fish and barely do I see normal quality now.

I don't know about your advice 'not' to purchase parsnips because while their income is low, they REALLY help train your farming skill in that first year. And I'm pretty sure you do NOT use fertilizer on multiple-harvest crops.. It only affects the first harvest, not anything after that (same with speed-grow). Yeah don't check trash in front of others because the trash will always yield a 'zero' recovery rate as well. You will NEVER get an item from the trash if someone watches you do it, even if that trashcan WOULD have given you an item.
@AM-gv9db7 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100 % sure, but I believe fertilizers last for a full month before it wears off. So if you have multiple harvests during that month, the fertilizer works for all of them. Or if you use fertilizer on a crop that only yields one harvest, you can reuse the fertilizer if you plant something else in that spot before the month is up. I agree with you on the parsnips though. Leveling up your farming skill is really important because it will give you a perk at level 5 :) It also gives you quick money that can make you get the backpack upgrade faster, or upgrade your tools faster.

Fertilizer and speed grow 'last' all season yes, but they only affect one-time harvest crops, not continual crops (past the first harvest)

Why am I watching this? I'm on my FIFTH year lol! I already know most of these things! Although it's pretty funny to me that you claim that "your partner is pure lazy, and all they do is moan" when my in-game spouse is ALWAYS doing stuff for me- Emily cooks me dinner, gives me gifts, will getting up in the fucking middle of the night just to water my hundred crops(She did that like, every day in a row for three weeks once) she gives the dog water, fixes fences sometimes, and she tells me how much she appreciates me consistently- seriously, sometimes I feel like she does more work than me! But I guess Leah is much different than Emily, huh? I kinda disagree about the children as well, since I do absolutely adore my kids, and I'm not gonna lie, I kinda wish I could have a third one... But it would be nice if you were allowed more interaction with them. Besides that, you're definitely right about the fact that you should probably wait to get married, not only does that make the relationship feel more real and believable, but it also gives you more time to do other things before you focus on getting married to your beloved.
