A Level 32 death with my Warrior and yesterday a Level 46 death to my Paladin destroyed HC for me - i can live with my own mistakes but deaths to DCs are just completely stpd.

One thing that might be obvious to some people, but wasn’t for me. I had my game saved to my external hard drive, which means it was taking my client a long time to load, especially at loading screens. Moved the classic game files to the C drive and now it loads and runs much more smoothly. If I had have had a DC, getting back in would take too long and could have killed me.

If you play longer then 2 hours, log off and back in. A reload once a while will help against dc.

Awesome video as always! If I were to add something to mention is to make sure you also train your defense rating. As a hunter, mage, warlock you’ll often go several levels without getting hit once then all of a sudden when someone eventually hits you, you get 2-3 shotted to crits.

Love that you show the clip of you almost dying at the end in the Plaguelands, it could easily happen to anyone at any time! People love to say classic wow is so easy, but the world of warcraft is as brutal and unforgiving as it is wacky and fun.

You have to play for more than 120hrs to get to 60, so it’s next to impossible to not make mistakes.

I understand the sour taste. I Lost my 37 mage to a DC too, but that was my internet provider. So I always play with Mobil hotspot sharing turned on as well

i am now lvl 45 and i never had a dc in hardcore...i don't know whats up with all of you guys internet connection/server connection...like if we'd talk about retail - sure there i disconnect in city while dancing on a mailbox but not in classic tbh

Grats on 60 but I thought you said you were going to take it easy, and take your time. You hit 60 far faster than 95% of the population. I was hoping to see you take at least a month or two.

Well I took some days off to start streaming, so I did for sure also have the option to play a lot. I could for sure have reached level 60 a lot faster, but I did do dungeons and questing, instead of AOE only :)

I agree with all except the questing addon, it takes the fun out of the game. And the rest of the addons just makethe game too eazy. Waiting for a guild that raids w/o addons. Cheers.
