"Rage Bait" Content creators intentionally say incorrect or controversial things to make people leave comments. Everyone wants to seem smart and participate or feels the need to defend their preferences so they comment. More comments fuels the algorithm. The content gets shared more often creating more comments. Each comment results in a profitable channel. Aggravating jabs and lies produce higher profitability with less work. If you dont want to contribute to this type of behavior then dont comment or like that offering from that creator if you feel they are intentionally doing that then the channel dies. Always remember to reward the honest content creators with likes, comments, and/or subscribes.

Godfather’s? Really? Godfather’s is my favorite pizza place. As of this month, there are 693 Godfather’s locations. They’re everywhere! Well, almost everywhere. I moved to Tulsa three years ago, and this is about the only place there isn’t one. I was jonesing for a Godfather’s Humble Pie so bad a couple of months ago that I got in my airplane and flew from Tulsa to Arkansas City, KS to get a couple of pizzas. The hour and twenty minute flight back was torture as I had to smell the pizzas but couldn’t eat any of it while I was flying home.

It seems that it's the restaurants that were "worst", not the food! I liked Godfather's pizza the few times I found it, but it's been a while. When I lived in Seattle in 1979-80 I used to eat at Pizza Haven and enjoyed it often. But by the time of my next stint there in 1991-92 most of their area locations had disappeared and I rarely ate there. Some Sbarro locations are still here in Atlanta and I occasionally eat there. Pizza Inn, Shakey's and Pietro's I never cared for. The others I'm not familiar with.

We had a Pizza Inn open in my hometown in the late 70s. It was lackluster, to say the least. The crust was soggy and the sauce was more akin to canned tomato soup. It didn't last long. I thought Godfather Pizza was okay. They offered a taco pizza that was very tasty. However, in my experience, local pizza places excel in consistently great pies. I've lived in 3 different areas in my lifetime and the "Mom and Pop" shops are always the best. Their advertising is usually by word of mouth. If the parking lot is packed, you've found a really good pizza restaurant. 🍕

Show biz pizza was a Shakey’s pizza off of 40 highway in Kansas City Missouri towards Independence Missouri. When they added animatronics while still under Shakey’s namesake. Dixon’s chili was right next door. That’s where he started his own business name. The animatronics was first placed inside that pizza restaurant. Shakey’s then shut down and showbiz pizza emerged. Actually when they stop using live bands and put in self playing instruments 🎹, then animatronics. That’s the succession in the change for our store in Kansas City Missouri. So actually we were first with the animatronics and Chunky E Cheese is second. We had arcade game’s different pinballs machines and hockey games and other coin Spring loaded type games. But all started with the Shakey’s pizza name. Back in the early 70’s to mid 70’s. 😉😉😉😉😉 SEMPER FI

I went to IU Bloomington where Noble Romans started. Before then, we had an awesome NR franchise near my Indianapolis suburban highschool. Their Deep Dish Sicilian was incredible. It was like a Detroit style baked in heavy, seasoned iron pans with lots of olive oil that fried the crust. Cheese was on top of the crust and would bake crispy around the edges with dollops of sauce on each square slice. IU was famous for it's local Mama Bear's pizza - still strong. A few blocks down, Godfather's pizza opened. It truly sucked. Yes they put on a lot of toppings but the crust was manufactured, tough, and totally inedible. I went there twice. Both times when Bear's was packed. It was almost empty in Godfather's.

I’m really surprised at the number of these chains I remember. I guess I’ve been alive for a while. I live less than a mile from a Chuck E. Cheese. The parking lot is almost always full. Probably due to kids birthday parties. The pizza is “meh”, but the kids are usually more interested in running around and playing games. Godfather’s is the gold standard for good pizza. They went out of business in the Ohio State University area because they were at least 50% more expensive than every other shop in the area and there are a lot of them. They still exist, but unfortunately, the closest location to me is about 45 minutes away in a Love’s truck stop. I’ll still make the trip occasionally. Sbarros is “mall pizza” and is about the same quality as anything else you find in the food court. They tried a stand-alone in my area, but it didn’t last long. Red Barn was never known for its pizza. It was more of a burger joint, competing with the likes of Frische’s Big Boy and Bob Evans. The burgers at Friendly’s Ice Cream (also defunct) were better.

Pizza, one of my very favorite topics! In terms of market share, Godfathers may have fallen off the map, but there are still a few left. Their pizza isn't too bad, but it has one property I've never found in any other pizza place. It tastes crappy warmed up in the oven the next day, while most others actually improve. The Chuck E. Cheese pizza was just plain lousy. One the video game/animatronics got old, so did practically all of the Chuck E. Cheese's, though there is one just a few minutes from my house. I have never gone in that place, don't intend to. I did go to the previous location that was nearby, and that pizza "quality" told me to not ever try any of their other places. Straw Hat, there are still quite a few of 'em left. The pizza is passable, decent enough to eat if ya have a coupon and need to fill up the gut. Round Table was my late brother's favorite! He never found a pizza anywhere near as good in Florida (in his mind; in my mind, their pizza is just average). There are still quite a few Round Table places, I think all in the West. I remember Shakey's VERY much. As I remember it the pizza was good, and they had a variety of entertainment shows almost nightly. Jazz, Ragtime mostly... I believe one even had a Wurlitzer pipe organ. Funny thing is, that strange-shaped and highly recognizable sign.. There are a few ma&pa pizza places around California that still have that sign, just repainted and renamed it. One of the old signs is displayed in Golden 1 Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings. RED BARN??? I only knew it as a chicken and burgers place. I might have tried it if they'd had "Pizza" up on their signage. One type of pizza place not mentioned is the ones that had theatre pipe organs in 'em. There used to be some 150-200 of these, peaking in the late 70's to early 80's. Most were individually owned, but there were a few chains of 5-10. Most were in NorCal, but there was a chain of a half-dozen or so in the Phoenix area. Now there are only three of these places left, two in the Midwest and one in Mesa, AZ. That one is still owned by the family of the original owners of that chain, I think... Many parts of the original organs became part of the HUGE Wurlitzer at the Organ Stop in Mesa, AZ. Unfortunately, their pizza is not great, but then I don't know what they're competing with in that area. But AZ is not known as a great pizza haven, so maybe they don't have a lot to compete with. The organ is played for several hours by top pro's seven nights a week. My favoriite pizza style by far is Chicago deep-dish, and more and more places are popping up here in NorCal that do it that way. And the two most famous Chicago pizza places have both grown into chains... The supposed originator is Lou Malnati's... I'm finally gonna get to Chitown next summer and that is VERY high on my list!

Godfathers pizza was and is still good. They have transitioned into truckstops, they have several I know of in North Dakota, I eat it often and it tastes as good now as it back in the day. They had a buffet in the early 1990's when I was in college, the students of Bozeman MT loved it.

What about Little Big Man's Pizza? A Montana pizza chain in the 1970's and 80's. I use to manage one

And somehow that terrible cardboard tasting, dry, burnt, boring, little Caesar’s is still around

Chuck E Cheese is, without a doubt, the absolute WORST pizza I ever tasted. I regret ever having my daughter's Bday party there. It was just plain awful in every way.

Chuck E. Cheese? Can't speak to the quality of the pizza, but they're still around. Since they were bought by Showbiz, that place is also still around in spirit.

Godfathers was one of the BEST pizza places, their buffet was good and always stocked. Noble Romans was also good. Never likes Sbarro.

When I was in school and college, I worked at 3 of those listed, Mr. Gatti's, Pizza Inn, and Godfathers. I'll never forget when our Godfather's location shut down. Me and my friend showed up after class for work and the doors were chained shut. He looked at me and said WFT! I said it's a good news, bad news scenario. Good news, we're free tonight to hook up with the ladies we met earlier, bad news, we have to go find another job tomorrow.
