I thought the individual models were amazing with detailing and paint (which they are) but now someone comes up with the idea of a "Lynx" showing history of a car that never existed. Blows my mind. Thanks for this great video.

WOW! This belongs in a museum in it of its self! The Lynx project is just amazing. And like you said the detail is just phenomenal. I hope I dream tonight of driving the copper one! I want to be shrunk down to 1/28th scale so I could jump in the copper one and go for a cruise. I just can't get over how this Lynx project comes together. You know, with the right camera one could take pictures and make them look "real" size.

Couldn't agree more! In fact, it is going to be housed in the model car museum in Salt Lake City. The problem is this museum is just kind of a private venture between several people and it isn’t really open to the public. What needs to happen? is this amazing museum needs to find a better home where it can be open to the public on a daily basis

As this is the last GSL, please extend these videos over time for all they are worth and as long as possible. I know you probably got a huge amount of video. I hope at least a year's worth. 🙂

The rear end of the Lynx reminds me of that Studebaker sports car that came out around that time the Hawk. These guys are sick (in a good way). Still working on my Cannon and Ammo cart project. Have acquired more tools and epoxy body filler. Still priming and about the start detailed painting. And by the way Karyn how many people can remember Johnny Cash’s song about a Cadillac stollen a part at a time. Your comment about the Falcon O Lay was cheeky don’t you think since the Mustang was put on the Falcon platform. Very interesting video that shows what happens when you leave individuals to their own devices. Great video.

Very nice series of diorama. The first Toyota was also formed on wood for production. In fact, the diorama on the prototype construction remembered me the Nagoya's Toyota museum, where a similar display (but scale 1:1) exists for this first Toyota model.

Kirkham Cobra still builds their cars on wood bucks in Poland in an old MIG jetfighter plant. They wanted to build their cars in this way, and then they discovered that that’s how MIGs were being built! And after the collapse of the Soviet union, this aircraft factory was sitting dormant. And so they contacted the people there, wrote them out a check for $1 million, and started manufacture their automobiles on wood bucks in the old aircraft factory.
@pbyfr
@pbyfr Жыл бұрын
@@ToyManTelevision I remember reading something like this, but I didn't know that it was still active. Old aircraft were often made by hand, but it gives also some issues. Apparently for the French Caravelle, the wingspan varied of several centimeters from one aircraft to the other!

Very cool idea. I have wanted to build a n scale railroad but I have been stumped with what to center it around with respect to industries on the railroad. I have decided to build it around a aquarium that will look like a volcanic lake complete with underwater volcanoes. This will open up the mountain for mineral extraction as well as timber and tourism! I'm starting to visualize it. I want thought going into this.

I'm not involved in model world (excepted I've build some when I was teenager) but last saturday 2 friends of mine were organizing, at Chanteloup en Brie (France) a show including real antic cars + kit car show and as I was detailing (or try to should I say...) Juha's models that really kept my attention amongs the others...and was lucky to discuss with this amazing person that Juha is. Of course we discussed about his creations and tricks but we discussed to about his other passion and I was very surprised about his other passion/collection and choices... ☺
