I can remember at the break table at work people really worried a few months before Y2K was to arrive. One guy stocked up on ramen noodles. Some of us not really worried. One girl went to a bomb shelter that night. I wasn't too concerned, I just went home and watched cable tv.

"Preparedness" . That's why I have a goal of paying off my phone bill 5 years ahead of time. So I don't worry about monthly payments. Eventually saving to pay a years advance for a different carrier. . I don't have a family and am homeless but I'm not giving up, I always wanna be prepared but i have different priorities set. Like I don't need many supplies but I need plans for multiple scenarios because being in a hole is ideal for like a month but afterwords things get together and u need to go out

It was never going to be that, code fixed or not. Almost two years later many more preppers have joined the ranks as there are supply chain issues, hyper inflation, fuel shortages, etc. and god knows what is around the corner.
