I give him a lift home after training where we talk about life, I have met his kid several times, and I can honestly say that their bond is an absolute delight to behold. I'm an ex prison officer. I met Kris in prison around 2010. He was one of the few inmates I always enjoined talking to because he was highly intelligent with a unique sense of humour. I am absolutely thrilled to find this video and see he's doing better. We'll done, Kris.

I was in Glenochil in 2007 after I got downgraded from the Castle. It was that new one. Put in for a transfer back to Shotts and went back 10 moon later. Thank fuck. 😆

This was such a shockingly sad and traumatic story. Poor guy. I feel so bad for kids brought up in this environment. You just want to rescue them and give them a big hug. Shame on the social work department and all the people who failed him. 😢I’m surprised he’s survived, but sounds like he’s got enormous strength of character to get through it all. Great he’s into books too, it’s a peaceful pastime and probably takes him off to a better space.

Jimmy Boyle after doin his time and getting out ended up in Edinburgh and I used to clean his windows but never seen him just knew that it was his flat with statues ect etc in the right place in this big flat but I knew about his story from, a sense of freedom and I mind seeing that on a black and white TV in the bedroom three series programme that is how they showed his documentary movie very well worth watching it's on here KZbin ,A Sense Of Freedom !!!
