I always thought it was so weird how the paramedics treated House after the bus crash. Like this guy is not responding verbally and has a vacant look in his eyes after a big crash and you don’t think maybe he has a head injury or acute psychiatric distress? 💀 Telling him to “go over there” and walking away expecting him to follow orders when you can’t even confirm if he understands you is crazy work

I always figured it was because they were triaging. This guy is clearly not okay but whatever's on him is probably not as urgent as the people who can't even move and they just don't have the spare people to watch over him properly

I'm a retired paramedic who's trained and dealt with mass casualties calls. The "walking wounded" aren't a high priorities *UNLESS* we suspect a *head injury* that take priority over lesser injuries. House would have presented with a certain scale number due to intox vs head injury based on pupil sizes, orientation, questions and odor of emanating alcohol .... other trauma patients would have been triaged as a higher priority based on injury and viability... sad but true.

@@notme2day I wouldn't really call it sad, triage is very important to make sure as many people as possible can be helped. I'd like to think most people understand that, then again based on the amount of signs posted in the waiting room of my local hospital maybe not.

Let’s assume that House’s flashback to the Bus Crash was the way it happened… Before he became a “Walking Wounded”, House was unconscious and alone on the bus. You’d think he’d be a priority and extracted from the bus then rather than let him be, pray he gets up, and get exits the bus on his own. 🤷‍♂️ Also, based upon the amount of People that was used for the recreation, it looked like there weren’t THAT many People on the bus to Triage. If that was too much for 2 Hospitals to handle, it’s a MIRACLE it wasn’t a bigger disaster when they had to deal with both the Crane and Office Building Collapse!

@@KelticTim not dead literally, but remember in the finale he's presumed dead cause he switched dental records in the house fire...so he could hang out w/ wilson before he succumbs to cancer. So if he were to somehow return to medicine, it'd be a rehash of those last seasons, where he'd be on lockdown....unless they pretend that didn't happen, or it's a full on reboot, or they write some ridiciulous retcon/reason he's back in medicine and "alive"

"House's Head' and 'Wilson's Heart' are in the top 5 episodes of the entire series. The writing, the concept, set design, stunts, execution, everything is nearly perfection. The only gripe I have is, The dump truck or trash truck the struck the bus seems to be travelling too fast of in city. Also, for the bus to be t-boned then continue on down the road to then strike a parked car, then to flip on its side and slide as fast and as far as it seemingly did, the bus would have had to have been going like 80 miles an hour. in other words its too unbelievable.

Well kinda yes kinda no. Its a redemtion story from the guy that doesnt care about anyone or anything but himself to actually show he does care about his best friend.
