Excellent videos on PMC Loudspeakers. Being a Hi-Fi enthusiast I'm particularly interested in very good, open monitors for domestic use. At this time, my attention is on the PMC.22 and how it compares to my existing floor standing loud speakers. I feel an audition is required. Needs include, wide dynamic range and ability to play loud when required.

I was watching the ATL video but comments was not loading. In the ATL what is the life expectancy of the foam? I have foam port inserts that have disintegrated, but at least those I can remove

Why Vintageking.com no longer carry PMC speakers?

because USA is a third world country, 2 trillion in student debt, no health care system, corporate based fascist government no income mobility. how can people buy speakers when to go to see doctor they have to risk personal bankruptcy. And dentistry? OMG guy from Turkey told me they wanted $16,000. to fix his teeth in the US, so he flew back to Turkey and got it done for $800. nice job, too. USA sux and people everywhere are broken and broke. God help you if you need medical because it's a country club for the rich- and you ain't in it. Dumbest thing Americans ever did is give their congress members free lifetime health care, because they might not have given a shit before, but now they REALLY don't give a shit.

Are PMC voting high! lol no look like good speakers hard to master transmission line good a companies tackling the concept are you going to do any measurements and data analysis on transmission line and release it out there because there's nothing much on transmission line

John sweda There is a reason why PMC refuses to measure and subsequently publish their measurements. Check Stereophile and Audio Science review...

I bought a pair of PMC twenty.21. I liked them, but Joni Mitchell sounded odd, and they didn’t play metal and rock that well. Roll on six years and I saw frequency reponse measurements. Wow. No wonder some music sounds wrong. The FR is all over the place, with a bass peak, and a huge treble peak. I sold them and replaced them with proper speakers, Kef LS50 Meta. Now Joni Mitchell sounds right, they play all genres well, even bad recordings are okay, or at least as okay as is possible, because the frequency response is near flat. The PMC speakers were very nicely made. But they are massively overpriced, and heavily voiced. The Kefs are half the price of the current PMC twenty5.21i. I suspect the pro PMC monitors are good, but the home speakers are worse than mediocre. In fact given the price they are shockingly poor. Yes I have auditioned the latest version. They were noticeably trebly.

only 20? I see no lambda drivers... And everyone who knows anything about speaker design know that the transmission line design is specifically for making terrible drivers sound ok. Bragging rights eh?

PMC is lying to its customers and is incapable of designing a proper loudspeaker. The i series is a particularly massive failure with WAY TOO MUCH bass reponse. Speaker is totally imbalanced. I suppose PMC does not have a drug testing program in place for its employees.
