Tbh, if you were a Triple A Dev and a console maker/publisher goes, "We'll fund your game/ give you a bigger cutof profits if we have it as a console exclusive for a while."; it was often in their best interest to *Not* upend the console wars. @@ARC7115 it could be like Republic commando but it’s a good idea if executed properly like for instance your squad would most likely get dropped off by a LAAT and extracted by a LAAT, and of course you’d have acclamators as your cruiser type obviously as they were mostly used during low atmospheric missions during the clone wars, so that would be a cool option to implement Star Wars themed stratagems, Like the Eagle could be replaced by the V-19 Torrent Starfighter, there could be laser orbital bombardments, there’s also the opportunity of more factions such as the pyke, the huts, the mandalorians, and obviously the CIS as the main threat
