The Ninja Screami thing had me rolling. We got one and loved it so much we got one for my spouses niece who has major dietary restrictions due to insane allergies… she is able to have sorbet type deserts and ‘ice cream’ using almond milk.. she loves that she can finally have ‘ice cream’. But they live in a condo and the neighbours came over and knocked to make sure everyone was ok. lol My spouse does the ‘leave it out for 15 min before spinning’ and I do the ‘run it under hot water for ~1min’ thing. I prefer that method. 1. it’s so much faster, 2. I find the edges don’t end up with that layer of ice around the wall of the tub. And yes… we do still want ice cream in the winter. lol Just had an amazing high protein, low carb lemon one tonight… A MAZ ING!

Have you tried coconut or pineapple? It’s my favorite! I make it with light coconut milk and sometimes I mix the pineapple and the coconut. It’s the best 😍

I’m curious if the tastes for each recipe are that different with only the fruit being the difference?

I do the water and find a minute to be good under hot water. I stopped scraping my pints cause there’s a coating that can come off as I had to learn the hard way lol
@FitFoodAE5 күн бұрын
Omg I never thought about the coating

Thanks for the videos. What brand is the pudding mix, skim milk and Monkfruit? I am from Denmark, so there are alot of the items not present in my country, but if you can inform of the brand name, then I can search for that. 🙂 Best Regards Thomas

Pudding mix is made by jello - if you want to save a few calories, they make it sugar free as well. Skim milk - fairlife brand is the highest protein Monkfruit - can't help, don't use it - I use swerve as my sugar substitute.

Monkfruit is an actual fruit that is used to make an “artificial” or “zero calorie” sweetener. In the U.S., it’s sold under a variety of brand names. You could use actual sugar or some other sweetener instead; but you might have to play with the recipe to get it to a level of sweetness that you like. Of course, sugar will add more calories and carbohydrates to the recipe than monkfruit would; but wouldn’t affect the level of protein. As to the milk, you could use whatever milk you like. The Fairlife milk is a brand in the U.S. which is ultra-filtered, lactose-free and has less sugar and higher protein than traditional milk. Again, you could use whatever is available to you; but would have to adjust the nutritional information of the recipe. The same is true for whatever pudding mix you might have available to you.

@ thanks. I thought it was Jell-O, but hoped for another brand. It is very expensive in Denmark. Like 35 dollars for 28 gram.
@TSparmer6 күн бұрын
@ thanks. Yeah, In Denmark we usually only got Stevia / Erythritol. We sadly don’t got fair life milk. So will have to find a low cal one.

Swerve or Lakanto for Monkfruit. The milk use fairlife idk if they have that in Denmark?? But just high protein milk. Pudding mix is Jell-O brand but you can omit it and just use xanthan gum

Pretty sure it's recommended and advised to ***not*** blend frozen fruit in the manual. Sooo YMMV.

If you have a chest freezer, it doesn’t take 24 hours to freeze the mixture. 🎉

Are you really mad at every home chef who simplifies a concept in the title to make it more concise? Don't be a Karen.

I'd say it is ice cream because after being icy it becomes creamy 😂
