Thawing your pints is a good tip! I have found that running mine under hot water in the sink for about 40 seconds helps a lot. Keep up the great work!

What’s the reason of running the pints under hot water?as in prior to mixing
@angelplascencia67165 ай бұрын
@HenryAng-ev1rj so that whatever you put in the pint isn't too frozen and damages your machine. It's better to thaw it out a bit before putting it in your machine to make sure you're blades aren't damaged and your ice cream comes out smooth and with minimum ice crystals

Powdered sugar also has a bit of corn starch which i don't like but it will nicely thicken your liquids a bit so, there's positives and negatives to it. To me it tastes grainy. Id prefer to add a spoonful of water and microwave the sugar and water mixture for a minute to melt them into a syrup. Just make sure it doesn't get too hot.

One of my problems when i first started was when i was using heavy whipping cream it would basically turn into butter in the machine and id have a greasy film on the roof of my mouth. Ive switched to using half & half and almond milk with pudding mixes and it works great.

Thanks for this comment. I just bought mine last week, and the second flavor entries to make was vanilla ice cream. I had that film in my mouth and wondered why. Plus, the consistently was off. I will switch to half and half. I also bought some zantham gum for smoothness. However, the peach sorbet I made was perfect 👌🏾.

I have a Ninja Blender/Food processor system with blender cups. I just mix all of the ingredients on low for about 15 seconds then pour it into the Ninja Creami pint containers. Easy peasy, everything is mixed thoroughly. I just got my Ninja Creami 11-N-1, so I take them out of the freezer tonight to see how they turned out. I'll let them sit out for 10 minutes first before using my Ninja Creami. I'm excited to see the results. One was made the regular way with Cocoa Powder, the other was made with Cookies and Cream Whey protein mixed with Almond milk.

Different models come with different amounts of pints. Some refurbished come with no pints, some come with 2, some with 3, and mine bought on QVC came with 5. There are a lot of groups that share tips and recipes on Facebook for various diets. Keto ice cream, low carb, full fat recipes, UK ingredients...natural ingredients etc. Thank you for mentioning to not use plastic bags. Do the math on them too. Bags are not free. If you make dozens of pints per month like me the cost of bags can add up and eventually you will pay more in bags than you would have just by buying a 4 pack of extra pints. One tip on not ending up with a hump in the middle is if you freeze them overnight without a lid they rarely get a large hump in the middle. I do this now and add the lid in the morning to keep them fresh. Great tips. Thanks for the video. The Ninja Creami is the best ice cream maker I have ever owned.

Your Ninja Creami videos are so helpful! You have convinced me to get one. (I'm still thinking about which model I want.) I have a question/video suggestion: I like smooth ice cream, so the hard mix-in options don't appeal to me. But I love swirled ice creams - like say swirled with chocolate sauce or caramel sauce. My idea is: can you test using a soft mix-in (like say a thick chocolate sauce) to see how that would work? Or maybe I'm just being silly and I should just hand-mix/swirl those soft/liquid-y types of add-ins myself?

It says right in the booklet “If your freezer is set to a very cold temperature, the ice cream/gelato may look crumbly. If this occurs, select re-spin to process the mixture a little bit more.” I don’t mean this to be rude - I _really_ don’t - but some of these ”problems” could easily be avoided if people would just pay closer attention to the instructions…

And therein justifies the need for these videos: people don't read. I got frustrated reading reviews of the Ninji CREAMi from people complaining about issues that never would have happened if they just read the manual and followed the instructions.
@Lisa.Childs Жыл бұрын
Agreed :) But it's very rare people will take the time and energy to read an entire book about a new appliance. I always recommend reading the manual first! But if people did that for everything, half of youtube would be obsolete;)
